i LOVE the fuzzy dice, hula girl, and bobble-head ideas (the playable mp3 radio sounds cool too, although it sounds tough to do) but i'd like to see bumper stickers for the inside of the cockpit. crappy examples to follow...

"my offspring is a snot-nosed cadet at CMS!" <-- had to battletech wiki to find the name of the cadet school...

"my OTHER 'mech is a Catapult"

Perhaps you could also add the custom name of the current 'mech, perhaps on a strip of duct tape? or even a plaque?

also, i saw a great suggestion from someone else, little random notes from the maintenance crew saying funny stuff would be good too!

Tree shaped air freshener, well worn picture of a loved one (with the ability to upload actual photos), coffee/tea cup holder and mug, rosary beads hanging from somewhere. A little round bellied Buddha (below). General rubbish, empty crisp packets etc. that were just scrunched up and thrown out of the way when the battle started.

I don't know if anyone actually said this but I want my hud on the actual monitors. At the moment they serve what function? I see ammo count heatsinks and mission kills, but all the text is so small you cant read it.

Aaaand a little chalkboard where I can crossover jenner and atlas kills I've gotten

Custom interior colors, especially black-light.

Male/female mechwarrior models. I want to make a female toon so I can look down my coolant vest. She also, as only proper in battletech lore, will go into battle in coolant filled moon boots and panties. For MC, we get to pick the color underwear!

An ashtray, PPC dispenser (I'm talking the DRINK), fuzzy dice, dinosaurs, and pin-up girls of OUR choice (or guys for our female mechwarriors out there).

The little sticky notes left behind by your techs depending on the damage you sustained in previous fights would be pretty bad ***.

Bandages, stitches on our limbs depending on if we ejected or not. Sunburn if we tend to cook ourselves in the cockpit too much.

Tattoos for our avatar's limbs.

On the OUTSIDE of the mech, we should be able to put our names, ranks, and perhaps some kill markers of our choice. We could also have our own pilot insignia, like nose art, which would be freakin' awesome. This would be different from our own unit insignia and colors.

Maybe even some charms hanging like crosses, compass-and-squares, skull and crossbones, guitars, etc...

Oh, and if we have MP3 players, they should have a billion song capacity, but the only songs we can listen to are by Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Megadeth - as proper.

A family car decal set, like this one, but with Battlemechs of different sizes??? Atlas for Dad, Awesome for mom, Jenner or Cicada for toddlers?



Come to think of it, I'd probably want to have something like that for my car as well.
