You're probably right, as for me, and a lot of others, i actually can't drop 2 consumeables every game, and i will be damned if i ever waste valuable MC for them.

As for the "special camo only available for 50 Mil C-bills" that is a really (really) good idea, i fully endorse it.

PGI ready to switch to 2 MECH, 1 WEAPON, 1 CONSUMABLE as standard? :(

2 WEAPON modules for all mechs is a fraud.... I think my SHD 2K with only 2 PPC..... I think that your weapon modules are useless due to heat handicap.

Isn't important for the community, but about my game play this change means -2 modules available!!!

Well after about two hours of gleefully abusing my newfound ability to bring arty and airstrike, and seismic sensor and radar derp

(Someone capping across the map from me on alpine? arty. Dire whale and his escorts? airstrike. Lone locust smoking a joint? arty AND airstrike, because I can.)

I did find that the desync is still present, but didnt last nearly as long (about ten seconds) but of course it only happens at the most vital moment. I sneak my BRAWL warhawk up behind a lrmhawk and just alpha the hell out of him......and nothing happens, then suddenly im yanked back a good ten meters and hes facing me, along with two IS lrm boats.

There is another typo, in the clan weapon mudle buy screen, the ER medium alser has "ER Small" in the discription.

Could we maybe get some positive quirks or additional module/weapon slots for the Griffins since they're the gimpiest of all the 55 tonners?
Like maybe +10 armor for the right torso of the 1N variant, and +10 armor for the 1S variant?
Or something, so they're actually worth using.

Your modules are not gone, only misplaced; go into your mechs, save them then open the module section again you should see the ones missing from said mech.


For your poor ******** with 120 mechs and 60 some odd modules, my condolences.

This needs to happen RFN. I've invested a LOT of money and GXP on modules for different mechs, and many are now invalidated.

I want a FULL RESET of GXP and Cbills. A game-wide change of this magnitude requires a full reset. Anything else is simply unacceptable.

Furthermore, the scout role in this game, which is what initially attracted me to the game, has been lackluster at the best of times, and pyrrhic for most of the last 2 years. Might as well scout in an Atlas, much like Steiners do.

What exactly were you spending your money/gxp on that is of no use suddenly? I'm genuinely interested, because I haven't bought many modules yet as I've been buying and outfitting new mechs instead and I do pretty well for myself without modules on most of my mechs.

Liking the changes, but the bugged invisible modules are annoying. Even so, very good patch!
A few things to note tho:
The Locust would be better served as 2 Weapon Modules, 2 Consumable Modules, 3 Mech Modules. That would allow them to run Shock Absorbance, Radar Deprivation, and one other Role-Specific Module (Cap Accel, Sensor Range, Target Decay, etc.) making them more of a presence on the battlefield.
Additionally, limiting Assault mechs to 1 Consumable slot could help to hinder Air/Arty spam. That or simply upping the team cooldown for Strikes to 30s.

Edit: Just realized that you can add +1 to all Mech's "Mech Module" Slots for the Mastery slot. This somewhat changes my opinions about how modules are balanced now...
