Another hero that the hard-core seraph kiddies can't (won't be able to) pilot.
Whelp, dedication to the cause or whatever.
Hmm, since Hell is not a swear word, it is the name of a biblical place (real, or fictional, I will leave that up to the reader), that seems a bit silly.

Here are some screenshots.
First a set with default colors and only PPCs in the arms (to show the nice camo) and then another set with black/black/beige with 2LP, 4ML, 2SRM6 loadout.
Enjoy!

I believe it's actually themed off a mech in cannon.
Edit: Yup, the Hellslinger. Not sure why they removed the L, then added it back in again.

This mech comes with unique hardpoints, and an awesome paint scheme.
You're right. I did mean 30%. The hardpoints aren't any more impressive than the Phoenix variant, and I'm not going to spend $20+ on a paint scheme.

It should have it's TT quirk of increasing the mech's max armor. An Atlas with Ferro is supposed to have a max armor rating of 688 rather than the current 614.
This is literally and absolutely wrong. Ferro-fibrous has never, in any format of the game increased the maximum armor value of the 'mech. All that Ferro-fibrous armor does is increase the points of armor per ton invested, effectively reducing the weight of the same quantity of armor.

Just in case you don't believe me.

Well, if it were called "Hellsinger"... would it be piloted by Alucard, or by Integra?

Yeah, usually to those I use the argument of "hardpoints don't give advantage" Especially since this mech is a watered down version of the 1G and the 1S. Actually, I should say, it's more like the 1G and the 1S had a baby, and it was this guy. (rather apt, considering my 1S is named Hellfire)

That would've been an interesting choice for a hero mech. Honestly, they are all great.
The main reason corsair isn't in is because of the timeline. That one wasn't built untli 3055 I believe.

I was hoping for ECM on it. Would be nice to have a faster Assault or a heavy ECM mech.

They self-restrict themselves from playing mechs with paint jobs (or names I'm speculating) that are associated with "bad" things.
While I personally think the paint on this thing is AMAZING, PGI is limiting it's sale-ability to certain sub-sects of people. Which I think is too bad. But, if people are going to split hairs on the (lack of) virtue that certain mechs have in this particular robot-based murder-simulator, then all power to them.

They could have used the original Red Corsair(identity of Katrina Steiner during her adventure in thePeriphery, see Red Corsair (3004)). I could find any info on it on sarna but I know it was consider canon tale and was mentioned in the warrior books but I don;t know what mech she used.
