Yep, the Crusader is in there.
I often think of these missing machines and their hard point layouts, especially on Stock Mech Mondays. There aren't that many good PPC heavies in the game stock - the K2 is your strongest option, and I'd much rather have a WHM-6D.
The Warhammer series would offer us a lot. The stock 6R would have at least six E hard points across arms and torso halves, an M hard point, and twin B hard points. Stock armor is thin but that's easily fixed. (I'd also really, really like the spotlight!). Whatever other models they chose (and there are plenty) you'd get a broad hard point selection. Warhammers trend energy heavy, but they'd be fun. (You can kind of build one from an Orion, but with fewer hard points)
Archers should be in the sweet spot for a missile 'mech. Twin LRM20 and quad ML feels a bit like an up gunned C1 Cat, but the missiles are torso mounted and a little harder to lose. Variants are all broadly similar; missile and laser. But oh, I'd like to drive on stock. (You can kind of make one with a C1 Cat).
The Crusader is one I really miss. Missiles in the arms *and* legs, energy in the arms, ballistics in the arms. A JJ variant. In some ways it's a lot like a Catapult, with the big weapons vulnerable in the arms. But I still want one. (No good hard point match; a C4 can mimic the L model, but nothing much else).
The Rifleman is the only one we really 'have' because of the Jagermech. The Firebrand is basically a Rifleman's hard points.
The Marauder - everybody wishes we had the Marauder. Energy heavy arms, Ballistic in the torso ... you could build it outta Mad Cat and Catapult bits. A high-mounted ballistic would make it popular. And it's a Marauder. (You can build one from an ON-1K, but it's not really the same)
Yeah. Miss these chassis a lot. Even if we had to take them with radically different art, I'd still love to have them in-game.
