not sure in CW lova my adder and would take it over any other light, however in the standard matches adder is not such a good choice, but in CW i love it. At leats the 2 CERPPC in the CT variant is nice. CW allows you to keep the distance without being rolled and so you can take enough cooldown breaks.

after all clan tech by this point in time line should still be better anyways and not matched point for point.
if you are going to give IS weapons the same damage as clans then might as well reduce the tonnage & crts why they are at it.
I am by no means a clan player and though I use a light Clan mech I also use a IS heavy with a ER PPC so I am in no way biased to one or the other.
now to the spread damage, no where in the rules does it stat that PPCs spread their damage to other locations (unless TW changed that) and is one location damage weapon.

And if you would have followed the MW:O - Twitter Newsfeed you would know that there are some buffs coming for the PPC.

2)Give it a simple quirk - for each CONSEQUENT shot heat generation reduced by 2 (3 for clans), with a cap on 5, with a time window of 10 (15 for clans) seconds, each shot resetting timer.
3)Give it a counterquirk - for each PAIRED shot heat reduction instantly voided and heat generation increased by 2, with each paired shot increasing it, with no cap, with time window of 15 seconds, each paired shot resetting timer
4)Suddenly you got questionable peek weapon and very cool one for sustained brawl. 10 pinpoint ain't that scary, while damage and damage/heat ratio gets charming. Also, awesome awesomes.
