No ecm, no armor, no firepower. Speed is supposed to be its shield. BUT I KEEP GETTING KILLED BY LRMS! 169km/h locust getting ass ***** by lrms. What is the point of this ****** mech!? clean your mess up PGI, lrms shouldnt be able to hit the fastest mech in the game.

If you're dying by LRMs in a Locust, you're doing it very, very wrong. Also, this isn't a suggestion, just a complaint.

i like the signature scaling system they utilize in that eveonline
large caliber weapons inflict less damage on smaller hulls (full dmg to matching or larger hulls ofc) but moderate/smaller weapons inflict full damage to smaller hulls
so lrms, ppc, LL, AC etc would all inflict reduced damage to a tiny chassis like locusts whereas ML, ssrm, sl/spl etc would inflict full damage but something like jenners with higher tonnage would take closer to full damage

It would be interesting if they did something purposely make it harder to hit fast moving lights.
But I don't think eve turrets work the way you think they do... https://wiki.eveonli...i/Turret_damage

sure it does ! well i didnt mean the tracking speed vs speed if thats what u mean.. i just meant the sig ratio sorry for any confusion
example: stilletto interceptor has a 31 meter signature radius while a battleship size mega pulse laser has 400m signature resolution
even if the interceptor was standing completely still the mega pulse would still do less damage in the damage calculation (and completely miss if it the interceptor was moving ofc)
in mwo a tiny chassis like a locust could receive only a percentage of the damage a ppc or large laser could inflict while a stalker would receive the full damage
like wise a medium laser would do the full damage to the locust and stalker alike
less surface area on a smaller chassis should be taken in account vs the large big damage weapons in mwo
surely it would improve roles and encourage more team play (assault need escort vs lights, anti lights role more in demand etc, light pilots wont insta die vs large laser alpha etc etc)
