On my alt account, Komagn, all I have is 2 Awesomes and the free Thunderbolt so I used my AWS-8R for it since the 8V has 8/8 Basic with 54K EXP banked.

On Ngamok, I used my HBK-4G(F) for the first 10 and then got the other 10 with my other HBKs and the GRFs. I stuck to the mediums. Much more rewarding.

Edit: 1 match was a SHD-2H I remember now.

Firestarters, I was in the middle of training them anyways so it worked out. I had a few really lucky runs so I got it pretty quickly.

When my buddy Derek wanted to try this game out last year around this time, instead of grouping with him on my account and putting him into higher ELO brackets I made a 2nd account and troll around with all the newer people. He played for about a month, but he has ADHD when it comes to games. So I kept up the 2nd account getting all the challenge rewards just in case I had a need for it.

FIRESTARTER-S 2AMS 3tons of ammo and 4 ML. It was a blast to be playing a light after so long. Statistically my Ember would have gotten the job done 1.35x faster but he wasnt open for the challenge 2AMS is still as pretty big asset for your team.

None because the few mechs I did have that qualified are not well suited for such a stupid challenge and I didn't want to grind up new mechs that did qualify because it's such a pain in the ass hassle to do so.

Anyone else find it dumb that the Marik upgrade to the Griffin was "Steiner" (Yes I know the Fecom bought a lot to face the Clans) but the Atlas was not available..... despite being built right there on Hesperus II?

(not that I would chose it.... I prefer Mediums anyhow...tried using my HBK-4G, but even with the IS buff, was getting rear shot by "friendly" killwhores too much to be effective)

I got my first 3 kills in VTR-9B and VTR-9K. Next 8 kills in the FS9-S.

Last 9 kills in the HBK-4P "Death Star.", which was the most fun I've had in this game in months. And the build I should have used for the whole challenge.

CN9-AL for the first 7 or so, HBK-4G(F) for one, QKD-4G with stock weapons for the rest (haven't gotten through elite on my Quickdraws yet).

*edit: I even ran them in the Steiner blues and whites that were on sale. Show some solidarity with my fellow FedCom brothers and sisters, or whatever.

Did most of the challenge with it. Had two 5 kill rounds and one 4.

Triple AC2 Shadowhawk 2H(C) got 18 of my kills. Other two with a Quickdraw 4H.

Don't know why I waited so long to try Shadowhawks, because they're a blast.
