Lights seems to Favour InnerSphere IS 1793-2280 vs Clan 1549-2157
Mediums close but Clans slightly ahead. IS 1713-2184 vs Clan 1735- 2221
Heavys IS 1639-2115 vs Clan 1954-2543
and Assaults IS 1832-2255 vs Clan 1851-2815
The Clans are clearly a long way ahead in the > 50 tons ranges
yeah, boating all the heavy ACs makes the difference, i think. ding ding ding left side gone.
i still think that there is no real burst damage.. the whole damage from an CAC20 or CERLL is
dealing with the first tick of the weapon, so the other bullets who should deal 5 damage can
be targeted somewhere else as the damage from all is already given out.
it really feels like that sometimes

CLAN assault is not avalable to everyone and heavy so PAY TO WIN THERE
NICE PAY TO WIN CHALLENGE
I didn't pay a dime for my c-bill summoner (thanks pgi glitch!), and managed to get up to 14th last night in the heavy category.
Sure it is hard mode but who said the hard road can't be fun, too.

as it would be nice to see which mech people have used mainly to achieve the rank they have in the board.

We're currently under a legal restriction from Quebec law where-in we cannot offer more than $100.00 in total prize value from a promotional contest. The alternative is a mountain of red-tape and paperwork to register the contest with the provincial gambling bureau.
As such, we looked at 3 alternative ways to deliver prizes for this competition, including reducing the number of prizes and dropping the top level prize: We felt the path we took was the safest of the options, but you are more than welcome to disagree and let us know why! There will be plenty more events like this in the future and room to adjust with each one.
Threaten them with mechs!

This might work. I hear that the Canadian military is composed of guys in red coats riding around on horses wielding hockey sticks, with jars of frozen maple syrup as projectile weapons.

I entered solely for the same purpose as you, I was hoping to see the total number of participants so I could see where I was.

Hard mode can make it worthwhile too. I'm happy to get to 42nd on the chart with a Superstock T-bolt 5S. And in case someone doesn't know what a Superstock is, it's a Stock Weapon Loadout (can upgrade ER, Streak, Uac, etc), Stock Engine Size, and for the Maximum Machoness you can run Stock Armor too, but your allowed to tweak allocations, Ammo and H/Sink Placement, and upgrade to DHS, Endo, Etc.

Just curious, can you make the argument that the prize has no monetary value?

Ah! Finally a good reason to let Quebec secede, then ask America to intervene with prejudice.

Growing steadily at 4%, unemployment looks be under control... not sure which USA you're looking at, but the one I see if doing fairly well. Even the "doomed housing market" is back to 2006 levels.

No because they literally charge money for MC.
... speaking of which: is that $100 US or CAN? I'm guess CAN and the exchange rate isn't helping.
