Cryengine netcode is rubbish. PGI does not have the manpower or expertise to fix these problems in a timely fashion. Expect these problems to continue in one form or another.

Why does everything have to be monetized?

Yeah getting lots of desyncs (really fun in a locust =P), and my ping is usually decent. On wifi, so was thinking it was on my end and interference. But glad to hear alot of other ppl getting it.

Weeee, disconnected from server mid-game and the rejoin doesn't work, working as intended.

I am getting really, really, very, super-extra fed up with the desync problems. It seems to be happening to me at least once a day now. I have put up with a bunch of crap from this game, and shrugged it off, but this is frustrating the hell out of me. I may just bug out till the 19th and see if the patch helps.

I am rather surprised at the lag spikes mwo is suffering from lately. Bad enough that it's even noticeable on testing grounds at times, with a 45 ping.

Killed by lag again... sigh...
I was jumping behind a cover when spike hit and after it passed away I was teleported in front of the cover - in front of half the enemy team in a medium mech...

Desyncs every game now, mass arty spam has a lot to do with it for sure.

Nah. Having good gameplay so people will pay is for subscription games. The F2P model is this: Build a good game that people will want to play. Remove key but not absolutely essential elements of it. Then force customers to grind excessively or pay for those key features. Asian F2P variation: force customers to pay to have an RNG chance to get walled off / super powered items.

MWO removed the mechs. Just be glad they aren't putting maps or 'elite' weapons behind pay walls. So far.

Believe me, it's conferring no advantage to me in Canada with 27 ping. If anything, I seem to be getting the "mechs walking in place" disconnect and general lag worse than many people I've talked to.

I feel your pain brah'...
I got uber internet connection here and still I bite the dust.
And it's to a point that I just can't close my eyes anymore - every night, almost every game - I get a spike that teleports me pretty much to the worst location I can be and it takes my life away.
I barely play something aside of LRM boats lately(the last 2/3 weeks) - you can think about that too btw - game's lag is most friendly toward the point-and-click adventures, since anything else suffers really badly from the lag spikes.
Not that LRM boating aint suffering, but at least while doing so your ass is behind a cover.

I suspect you may be right, they became really noticeable after the patch where they made rejoining possible.

It's getting worse, had bad desync problems all weekend, didn't even bother playing yesterday, logged on just now after work, 2 games, 2 desyncs.... :(

Both games I already had a kill, and was still in pretty good shape, and then everybody freezes in place, WTF??!!... :D

Won't be logging on anytime soon, the sheer bloody frustration this causes me is too much, this is supposed to be my FUN time.... :P

Seriously PGI, this needs to be sorted out, and fast, you have paying customers that can't play without getting jerked around by server issues, it's just not bloody good enough, way to kill off the goose that laid the golden egg... ;)
