If the matchmaker isn't borked, the lag and desync issues will end your efforts as well...Please do more contests persuading as many people as possible to play all at once while not making the fixes that allow a playable game....pure genius at work here.

But if it keeps people buying up all the sale items, why change what seems to be working right?

Incidentally, the images that should go with the 20-win and 50-win are still showing broken.

Unless you create a group and ask others to drop with you, or you join another group, then you're "Pugging" or Solo dropping. I suspect you've been Solo dropping or pugging for a year.

I posted earlier that this was an awesome challenge. and it is. Unfortunately, the hit detection and lag is so bad the game is unplayable. This will be only the second time I have ever not completed a challenge.

It's a brawling LRM boat... but it's still an LRM boat.

Haven't watched the video, but I love my brawling LRM boats (Stalker and Warhawk alike).

Solo means not grouped with friends. Unless you "create" a group and invite friends or accept an invitation to join a group, then you're pugging or in "solo".

Sadly someone really, really, really dragged a match on claiming to be isolating enemies (us) and picking them off, but did nothing of the sort. We even spread out and said "Hey, we are in (list of gridsquares)."

Still wasted 7 minutes.

Having spent almost all of my time playing solo up to about 2 weeks ago giving suggestions has never been a reliable thing to do. I maintain my view of this being a terrible challenge do to it being tedious, and it bringing the toxicity level up significantly as people get more and more frustrated by their losses.

I exclusively play in groups.
This game reward teamwork, and I don't see much of it with PUGs. (Quite frustrating when I pick a light/medium Mech.)

Thank you for the event, the rewards sounds really nice. However I don't see myself telling all my game friends to bug off so I can play solo.

It seems quite conter-productive to encourage solo play in an Online game. Socialization is an important part of player retention.
