Callsign: Trismegistus
Timezone: PST
House/Faction: SJ
Playstyle: All / aggressive / strategic
Roletype: All (don't like PPCs)
Preferred Weight: all but light
Experience: Tabletop, 3 weeks of this, 5000+ hours of CS:S

Hi, I am a long time gamer. Only been playing MWO for 3 weeks but I tend to be top 3 in most of the pub games unless it's a faceroll. Played FPS games for years where I also usually lead both teams although the extent to which that transfers to MWO is relatively minimal. Don't get near my dual gauss with a light mech though, you may not be as fast as you think.

So far I just play clan mechs trying to fill out my dropdeck. I'm relatively new, only mastered kodiaks so far, have a few other mechs but my drop decks need a LOT of work. I actually don't have a mic right now as I replaced my headset with high end headphones since I was only playing LOL at the time, but that can be solved easily. I'm just looking for an above average merc unit where I can play MWO the way it's meant to be played (teamwork) and where we can reliably win against random groups and casual units and enough players to queue for faction play.

I'm back from a 9 month break from the game and am unit shopping.

Callsign: SuperTrooper
Timezone: Eastern -5
House/Faction: Merc: Clan and IS
Playstyle: Agressive by nature but can play any style.
Preferred Weight: Lights - Heavies
Experience: I started with CWI in the CWI glory days and then was at MS when MS meant something. Also have B tier comp experience but I'm not looking to play comp at the moment. Please no lore heavy units or beginner development units. I'm looking to play casually with experienced pilots.

Experience: casually played from the beginning. But playing heavily now. Most evenings and weekends

I like to win but mostly looking for a fun group to drop with in a competitive setting. I'll take hysterical goof balls over drama queens any day of the week.

Callsign: Shootey McShooterson
Timezone: Eastern/USA
House/Faction: None ATM, but only drive Clan
Playstyle: Poking and hill humping in the enemy's flanks. Will redeploy wherever a teammate needs support. Sometimes to a fault, but I'm learning. I also pop UAVs like a champ. Posted Image
Roletype: Support, sniping, skirmishing. Some brawling, but weakest at circle duels, since I don't usually play FPS style games.
Preferred Weight: Heavy, Medium (Do best in Hellbringer or Hunchback IIC... Or the KDK, but who doesn't? Own a range of Clan mechs)
Experience: 4 months MWO. Mostly PUG, some group play and scouting in faction play. Battletech oldtimer going back to the board game. Know mech building front to back.

Looking for a squad I can grow with while having fun first and foremost. This is the one thing I put my free time into right now, so I want to have fun doing it. IRL I'm very competitive and have a good understanding of tactics and strategy, and am a team player. (I'm CEO of one non-profit, and VP of another)

...And yeah, I've got voice.

Callsign: Aloha
Timezone: U.S. Pacific
Faction: Want to go Merc - have good collection of both Clan and IS mechs
Playstyle: Love to brawl, but can play support role if needed
Preferred weight class: Good with Medium, Heavy, and Assault. Passable in Lights.
Experience: Not a Founder, but started playing MWO when it was still 8v8. Lucky enough to have played at the Launch event in SF. Used to play MW4 over 9600 baud modems under the callsign "Gunmetal Wolf" (yes, I'm old). Never played TT, nor care to. Read and enjoyed some Mechwarrior books but not a lore follower.

I have a family with kids, but usually can get an hour or two in each night and maybe more on weekends. Been PUG'ing mostly, but had occasionally grouped with some Smoke Jags so I have some FP experience. I'm looking for a Merc team with strong leaders and good drop callers. I don't want any leadership roles or responsibility. I just want shoot mechs. But I will follow orders and work with the team. I don't mind some joking around, but when in a match I don't want to be distracted with talks about beer/girl fiends/politics/lore.

I have Teamspeak, but prefer in game VOIP so I don't have to load the TS client.

Callsign: Pirate Cat
Timezone: GMT
Faction: I only have IS mechs.

Playstyle/roletype: Does it go fast? I like to "press W till fun is had" Within this broad outline, i will flank, hunt down vulnerable mechs, distract and harrass the enemy team. I also act as a flank guard, watching for enemy lights and a rapid response unit.

Prefferred weight class: Lights always! although i do have a Misery and Atlas in an unused mechbay.

Experience: Back from a long break, so really im new and relearning.

I am generally around for a few hours after 20:00 UK time and looking for some teamwork and tactics.

If I had more time I would play in tournaments. If you are a control freak dont bother.
I dont do well with micro managing and being told what mech to pilot and how to fit it out.
But If Im on your team your odds of winning just went way way up. = P

Timezone: EST

House/Faction: Currently only have IS mechs but I'll be acquiring Clan mechs soon

Playstyle: I like hitting flanks hard but whatever the team is doing is my main concern

Roletype: Skirmisher, Long range, brawling is also tons of fun

Preferred Weight: Mediums and heavys mostly with a sprinkling of assaults for good measure

Experience: Played a bit when MWO was released and picked it back up a month or so ago. I play pretty regularly now, weeknights and weekends mostly

I'm still learning (I don't think you should ever stop learning tbh) but I like to think I'm a decent pilot. I am looking for a unit to learn from and have fun with. I wouldn't mind playing comp if that's available but right now I really just want to be part of a team.

Also I have a mic

Leader: Spectre 138

Name: Teufel Hunden (Devil Dogs in German). TAG- THDN
Callsigns: Devil Dogs, T-Hounds
Timezone: Eastern/Central
Faction: Clan Wolf
Play style: Recon/Scout (ECM tactics), Brawler, Adaptive playstyle
Role: Scouting, Invasion (with enough people)
Weight: Medium/Heavy
Experience: Mechwarrior 3-4 mercs, Mechassault 1+2, Knowlege and training in real life tactis.

I'm looking for coordinated teammates that can work as a team and effectively communicate vocally. Knowledge of tactics or at least the ability to learn and cooperate is a must. Must have at least 1 full clan drop deck. We will probably run Timberwolves, Hellbringers, Shadowcats and novas, although not limited to that. We will start out quickplay/ scouting until we make an entire coordinated unit, then try invasion and holding a planet.

Recruitment will be on Tuesdays/ Thursday and weekends most likely

Actual Devil Dogs greatly welcomed.
