Faction: Inner Sphere. I used to be affiliated to a House but left in 2012 (during beta after playing for almost a year). Contacted them, but in the end I'm here to see if I can find a proper merc unit.
Playstyle: Tactician ? I adjust to the situation. I don't have as much time to invest in online games as I used to, so I learned to be a good soldier, I give quick and reliable feedback. I'm looking for better leaders to follow.
Roletype: I don't do well with missile boats. I love Brawlers. I do well at support and would like more mechs to support with. I'm good at sniping or tanking even though in PUGs, I often forego my role to fill tactical gaps ...
Preferred Weight: Medium, heavy, assault, light in that order. I prefer well balanced mechs able to fill many roles, since I'm usually able to adjust to the situation. Sometimes it pays, sometimes it's suicide.
Experience: I started with MW1. Played BattleTech + Battlespace RPGs for a bit. Skipped MW2 and 3, played some MW4 (but not online). I can't forget my experience online in Mechcommander 1. I played a lot of FPSs, been in many units but never as much fun as Clan Burrock was. Everytime I can, I mention the fact I was in Clan Burrock in the Starlance league. We were top unit for a couple seasons in a row and I don't say this to brag but because I really hope sometimes one of them will see this
So here I am. Since I feel like my post is about advertising myself to make finding a unit easier, here goes why I'm here:
I know CW is not what I hoped it would be when I founded MWO, but then I remember playing back when if you wanted a ranking system you needed volunteers to do it. And a website (they were'nt as easy to produce as today). We used to fill out forms to report competitive battles, using peer review to prevent cheating, etc. to be able to have an appropriate ranking system.
So I'm here to find a community of people who like the Battletech universe and more precisely MWO with its qualities and faults. A group of people who realize fun in an online game doesn't depend on PGI or any other corporation but is all about competing to the best of our abilities.
Feel free to contact me, I know we all don't have time to waste so I'll be honest, no matter what. No need to mention "mature" players only, no matter what your age is. I'm 34 by the way, if that means anything
EDIT: to make it more readable.
