Still REALLY confused why two of the least used Clan weapons got punched in the junk so hard.

cERSL and cSPL were in no need of a nerf. In fact, I was hoping they'd get a slight range increase.

My point is the conspiracy theory that they are nerfing weapons based on what has become available for cbills is silly.

I'm somewhat concerned that these changes are meant to make the module system a mandatory part of regular play, as I think it's pretty horrible as it now stands; horrifically expensive for minuscule gains.

I seriously hope they don't do this for the upcoming cooldown modules as well...

most changes seem logical....for testing at least not for "thats how it has to be"

It is a pre-emptive nerf, they are afraid we will all switch to Small Standard and Small Pulse lasers following the nerfs to everything else.

In order to maintain the status quo, where only Nova's and maybe a Kit Fox even remotely consider mounting small clan energy weapons - they needed to be nerfed.

I like the weapons modules. I am happy I can increase all srm range and especially the single small laser on my commando 2d. I was hoping they would go to level 10 stats modules. Those few extra yards make all the difference.

As stated the gains on modules was too small for the heat gain.

They removed the heat added it to the popular weapons lowered the range now making modules a no brainer

If you don't have them enjoy the heat tax

I've been seeing oodles of smalls on Direwolves lately. Don't think they need nerfed but they are being used.
