Hey, SirEpic here, just wanna say the problem this match had was the team fragmenting way early in the match. Usually, a solid push by all or almost all the team will be what wins a match, and in this match, that just did not happen. Enemy was up on the area with the dropship, I moved up in my AS7, one guy came, rest of team stayed back and scattered. Got rained/shot to death. I think if people just stick with assaults, and shoot what they shoot, they will have much better chances of success. (if the assault pilot is competent, that is)

So you're saying the other team had to sync drop because they all pushed together :-D trolol. Not stabbing at you epic, kinda poking Mudhutwarrior.

Its not MM. When Solo que opened it was fine. Since the dropping started in earnest many matches are trash now. Like in the other thread many have seen the open admissions and mocking in chat. Its a lot more common place than the deniers care to admit.

MM is fine.

I agree, MM is fine. It's working with what it has.

However, you still haven't provided any actual details regarding these so called sync-drops. What's more, you're generalizing those that sync drop for fun, with those that do it to abuse it. Now, there's a lot of groups that sync drop for fun. In which case, there's no problem there. If you think it's a bad thing that groups do it for fun, and not to abuse it, then you're very much alone there.

But, I don't think any of us have actually seen these so called abusive syncs. Neither have you provided any screenshots, names of groups, anything. And guess what? You actually can do that now, due to tags. So to me, it sounds like you're trying to drop blame on people that have no interest in abusing the system.

And for crying out loud, stop avoiding everyone's questions! You're worse than a politician. ;)

Just take a break....trust me I felt the pain with leveling the nova (not a good carry harder mech). Play other weight classes etc.

I know the feeling. A while back I was using my Hunchback-4P, and I had that similar problem.

Well there has been at least one Screen shot of around 7 players in a drop from one Merc unit. the Seraphim IIRC. they were spread on both sides of the fight.

And we spent most of our time trying to kick each other's butts in the same channel so any coordination was heard by the other team mitigating any advantage there was to be had. I may or may not have been in that sync drop but let's face it, this is not a problem.

Also, the solo queue is not the sole property of lone wolf players.

Not accusing just stating facts. In the past The Law has also dropped on both sides, randomly. Lots of fun ensued. Including the smack talk... To date I have yet to defeat a Lawman in the solo que! ;)

What shocks me is that the Seraphim have no problem with you talking about this in an open forum.

Why would they need to? ;)

They have a no profanity clause, but not a no advantage clause. ;)

Read my thread. Plenty of evidence. Sorry not many meme posters though you will actually have to read.

You mean the thread in which nearly everybody was asking you for evidence that you...
1. Never supplied.
2. Continuously evaded anybody who asked for evidence.

That thread?

something about integrity, honor... mostly integrity.

Not to mention anyone that was looking for a unit would more than likely frown on it, definitely paints the unit in a bad light...

Why should it shock you?

It's not cheating
It's not unethical.

Or is this in some way an attempt to silence me for religious reasons?

Edit: have you read our code of honor? We've already invited PGI and IGP to come in and see what we're doing and if THEY tell us how we do this is cheating, then we'll abide by their decision. Till then this is just for fun.

Again, solo does not mean 'lone wolf only',

Don't twist words...

You are exploiting a solo queue.. Rather than hone your skills on a group queue you prefer to attempt to get your buddies together and sync.

Integrity and Honor... Interesting terms. I am very fond of them.

If the Seraphim were on TS3 dropping solo and ended up in the que together, how does it violate Honor, and if they blast each other to components they showed integrity.

When you do that you end up matched against each other more often than not. The only screenshot I've seen of the Seraphim syncdropping is with 6 of them split evenly between the two teams, which is hardly a big deal.

Its the attempt that bothers me. We have quite a few people at the Templars too, some 60-70 truly active. I define active as at least a few hours a day, however we promote team drops not solo drops. I'm sure if we lined everyone up and dropped solo we'd be in the same situation - however we group up in the group queue.

That both Steiners and Mariks still hold synch drops weekly still has no bearing on it at all? That several from both factions also confirmed the practice it still doesn't happen?

I think we know you position will never change so all that left is why?

Mud... Steiners and Mariks will be needing to drop together, Personally even as a PUG, I see no problem dropping against Sync teams. Like I keep saying the best team wins. So I am always ready to NOT be the best... Its another part of sportsmanship. Losing gracefully.
