Only one message I have for PGI right now: "Get MWO back on track, regain the trust of the gamers out there and than maybe try Transvere?"

Watch the second half of video where Bryan talks about fully player-driven world, exploring, economy, etc.
It really looks like...Transverse is actually trying to compete with EVE.
*Sigh*
PGI, I might be the biggest white knight of MWO out there, but as someone who follows gaming business and has a remote idea what's happening, my impression with Transverse just went from..."tragically brave"...to completely f**king nuts.

Why don't you worry about what on your plate instead of what's on someone else's plate. You love or hate what PGI has on it's plate, fine. Just stop having fear of abandonment issues, MWO will still be developed on as long as there are people still playing it and putting money in it.

The trailer video stuff seems to be from one of her tries to monetarize the Wing Commander-license some time ago.
So old material and they tried to stretch it with loops.

Transverse!
They'll finish one or two ships without any love in details including a bad buggy dogfight mode and call it "official release"!

And now I owe him dinner.
Seriously though, the "small team" excuse for slow development has been thrown around since 2012 and somehow they've found the time to create all those transverse game assets....
OMG! OMG! Has someone dropped a pom-pom?

And with some invisible walls in space that you waste shots on. That at least would have been epic.

Strangely enough, despite the rather huge head start SC has, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Transverse got to official release first.
That wouldn't surprise me at all, matter of fact I'd bet that IF it gets off the ground (and I'm not putting money on that) it will be before SC. Look how fast they got to "official release" with MWO.
They've proven that they can go to "official release" with far less content and polishing than others might consider appropriate already.

While I hope that MWO will be around for a very long while, I don't have any abandonment issues.
I haven't been playing MWO in weeks and will return when CW is out to give it another go. The money I spend in this game was a good investment for me as I had great fun. Still hoping it will turn out to be the game we got promised (them it would be an amazing game), but if MWO collapes, so be it.
All I'm saying is, I will not put any money into Transverse as I don't think PGI can handle a project like Transverse if they can't even complete MWO and that there are better alternatives out there.

Im a lengenday founder, an overlord phoenix and a full clan backer. Ive also got alot of MCs so i could get my hero mechs... that said, i might back that game after CW is out.
PGI, you have one of the most tough comunities out there in gamming business, but a hard solid one. And they arent plaesed, you know that all to well. Be at peace with your comunity, try not to moderate as harsh as you do, get us CW once and for all, stop nerfing clan tech just because of people being babies about it, more maps and most importantly, once you guys commit to something regarding the game, try your very best to deliver. If you all do those, then yes, this comunity might apreciate your work, your dedication and we will eventually back you up, even your projects like transverse.
So, in my opinion, wait on that game... considering that there is star citizen and elite out there, you might want to be an alternative. To be such, you need to know your competition. So wait a bit longer. Strenght your relations with your own MWO comunity by delivering those i said above, and youll get alot more people backing you up, me included.

1. They crowdfund a game.
2. They fail to deliver what was originally advertised and tell the backers that they are not the game's target community anymore.
3. They try to crowdfund a new game
4. They are confused that nobody rushes to fund it.

As it stands this trailer does nothing for me. It did make me think of Black Prophecy for some reason, but other then that... just doesn't seem all that interesting to me (so far).

Partial snippage ......
Though I honestly think Bryan should've polished the site a lot more before the big reveal. And probably waited for CW to be out. But meh, done is done, for good or ill.
Like their Launch Party? No Guts No Spine looking like they never saw any form of Launch before, soggy, cardboardy pizza, and cold chicken, and all 50 people watching Paul play Tetris.
They have no polish, and it's not in the budget.
