Just to give an idea. I went through all of the individual weight class categories, and didn't find that any thread from any of them has had as many views as this thread. There's one Command Chair post with more views than this thread. Only one FAQ has more views than this, and its for the Clan Packages, made back in 2013 when they were announced.

The only category in the forum that has ever received remotely the same amount as attention as this has in such a short amount of time are the developer blogs, the Ask The Devs.

People are paying attention, PGI. People won't forget this, you can't sweep it under the rug and pretend that it didn't happen. News sites are going to be reporting on this soon, multiple ones.

i bet someone has already taken pics incase ego or Niko ruins this thread tomorrow. They love to do stuff like that and call it "cleaning"

It's not like I'm playing, and no matter what they try to tell the public they know that's true. They know who's not playing.

Well, I don't really have a dog in this fight. I know most of the forum members that were banned initially were complete ******* for over a year and spent a lot of time antagonizing other forum members. It's like people who got away with robbing a bank for 30 years, only to be randomly run over by a patrol car and act like victims. I mean, I get that people hate this game, but why spend the best part of your life trying to prove people wrong on the internet? What did they expect would ultimately happen when they didn't simmer down?

And now this. I haven't played MWO in a few months because it was stale. Too many potato teams vs 12 man tryhards. I guess this is some nice entertainment though. People who make a living making a video game vs people who can't live without said video game. Who will win in the end? Immovable object or irresistible force? Find out tomorrow on "Oh God, I've wasted My Life."

Guys be nice. Chris Roberts' Star Transverse looks like it will be a new and refreshing game in a genre which hasnt had much play in the last few years. I for one am happy that pirahna is unveiling an IP that WON'T have copyright infringement issues which kill it.

I can post if I wish. 'Tis the right I paid for. I mostly got my money out of the game. As for the rest... I can extract the 3d models and print some nice battletech figures as needed. I don't specifically need MWO to enjoy the very nice mechs they have made. Well, mostly very nice. I still don't like the walking egg they call a Dire Wolf. Aside from that, nice stompy mechs.

Either the game gets better, and I start playing again, or it doesn't and I have nice 3d printed miniatures.

Well one good thing came out of this, kind of, sort of, not really. Paul released details of Community Warfare early, even though this was supposed to be coming out next week anyways.

At least Paul has some sense to notice when it isn't going away. This kind of reads like it being a move trying to placate us, but I'm more of an optimist than a pessimist, so this could be the first, minor, step towards trying to mend the relationship between PGI and the community.

Also you missed the point and I wasn't the only one who posted about it.

But I do feel your sentiment and we're all here cause we love the game (or what it could have been), don't get that twisted. This is nothing new and obviously you've seen this all before, because you've been here as long if not longer than I have. It's just a crappy cycle that keeps repeating itself.

Keep in mind, at the median wage level, I spent more money than both of you combined just in the hours it took to run the radio station and android app. Hundreds of hours at ~$50/hr for development and artwork. Plus bandwidth.

Money is not the only thing I've given this game. I can make more money. So can you. So if I say I don't have a dog in the fight, it's because I mean it. The toxic community is more to blame for the reason why I shut those down and moved on.

If I wanted to be heard, I would just email PGI like I have in the past. It's funny how responsive they are when you aren't trying to call them out.

Anyway, that is neither here nor there. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the first entertainment from MWO in a couple of months
