I do have to say that there is more than a hint of Hypocrisy here Niko - i do not think you are doing a bad job as a community manager as some say but clearly you must see the similarities between this and your forum crackdown with 3rd party sites included.

Clean your own house, your own site, i have no problem with at all ban anyone who is being an abusive jerk. You cannot and should not control anything else so if you did break reddit rules well ... thats life

At least Paul has some sense to notice when it isn't going away. This kind of reads like it being a move trying to placate us, but I'm more of an optimist than a pessimist, so this could be the first, minor, step towards trying to mend the relationship between PGI and the community.

Are we really fighting each other? I think we're all pretty much 100% united on this front. Community warfare is PGI warring their community.

It never was about me. It's about a bunch of people on a forum that can't even coherently say what they want. Let my voice be heard? For what? To what end? Unbanning people? I don't care about them. Leaving reddit alone? The 5 minutes I spent browsing reddit today is the most I've ever spent on that site in my entire life. Stop Transverse? It probably won't get far anyway.

So what is it exactly that I'm supposed to be demanding on the behalf of everyone in this thread who is angry? What about MWO am I supposed to save? Just enough so people can go on bitching about the state of the game?

Nah, I've moved on to greener pastures over at Eternal Crusade. Even hung with the devs at PAX for a day. Nice crew. I still check back now and again to see how far along this game is, but 'tis as I said, no dog in this fight.

On a side note, at least this means they recognize something is wrong and they are attempting to respond. Or at least Paul is.
