By now I'm sure we all know that the POTENTIAL playerbase is the most important. Who cares about the people that dropped cash on an idea at the start, or for nostalgia-mechs, or clanmechs.

I appreciate the offer! It sounds like a lot of fun- (imagine all those Fleas with broken legs!) but I'd hate to take advantage of your generosity when I'm not sure if I have time to play regularly. If anything changes, I will absolutely look you up though, it sounds like a blast.

It does carry a lot of weight. Every single poster here knows it. I'm sure most of us would have happily blown massive amounts of money... more than we had already, IF the game we had been promised even partly materialized or was visible on the horizon. To most of us this is a universe we find captivating, absorbing and above all FUN.

It's not even the fact they tried and failed. They tried (but not really), realised they were going to fail to deliver and said "right, now lets rinse every last penny out of this loyal fanbase before they cotton on". Low, very low.

This game had and in a way still does have such great promise. However I gave up expecting this company to deliver that a long while ago.

I'll probably play on occasion as I do now when friends play but I seriously have been expecting the game to die off, especially after the message of "just a few months off" is delivered over and over again in relation to when real "content" not just mechs will be released.

Can't say I've ever been an active forum poster and when you guys came out with your Uniform Code of Mechwarrior Justice I have to admit as a military member I was insulted and pretty much stopped visiting period.

As for the Reddit bit. Broke the TOS and you got slapped for it, I got no pity in me for you.
