Something that has me hopeful is that this hasn't been locked yet. I hope that reading this is a sobering experience. No five year old enjoys eating broccoli, but its in their best interest to do so.

I'm not trying to be a jerk. I don't think that anybody on the MWO is malicious in any way at all. They're good people doing work that they believe in, and I think the same goes for Russ, and because of that, I'm sure they're disappointed, comparing what they wanted to have by now and what actually exists. Thats not a reason to ignore this thread, its a reason to embrace it. Nobody wants to bad guy, to disappoint others, to leave them frustrated, upset, angry, or numb to everything. Nobody wants that, but its what happened.

Take it from an amateur boxer, sometimes you need a good punch in the gut to get properly motivated. I hope that this thread provides that. I've been trying to remain kind and productive, but I can't blame anybody here for not taking the high road, after what they've been put through.

How has PGI not gone out of business already? Who is still giving these people money? Their business practices have been the worst I've seen in the last decade, if not more. It's a testament to the stupidity and uncaringness of the masses that their unethical company can even afford to pay its lease.

Keep putting your collective foots in your mouth, PGI. With any hope you'll go bankrupt sooner, rather than later. Then maybe we'll get another shot at a mech game that isn't meant to be a money printer. I'll finally be able to play a mech game for the modern era that doesn't require me to toss aside everything I stand for morally in order to play it.

Posting to show my Founder support to all my Founder brothers/sisters. Back in 2011 (and earlier) I eagerly followed the Vice Presidents little blog, waiting patiently on news on a MW game. Looking back, those were sadly my favourite part of the MWO timeline, as the anticipation of the unknown was exciting. I enjoyed very little of the actual game, feeling embarrassed in trying to get my friends to play and finding out they simply did not like it. I realised that only lore and previous games forced me to stick around for a bit.

Oh it is very unfortunate what is happening now, for all of us.

Lets see, you ban people from your forums wether they broke the COC or not, mostly for what they posted on 3rd party websites.
You then go and break another forum's rules, get banned for it, now you can't take it, and is trying to blame somebody else for what was clearly your own fault. (You should have read those rules).

I think you're missing the point here. They aren't pissed at the game, they want it to grow. Also, they haven't posted on the forums for the most part in 1+ year(s). Those of us that have been around have been saying the gameplay is better than they remember and is in a pretty good state right now.

Because they love Bt , stompy robots and their Atlas, Jennr, Madcat, raven ...... hard to understand that the Ip is beeing Pgi ´s hostage?

Some of us have been BT lovers for decades. There's not much left of BT anymore, but we're here because we love the universe. Hell, the game even had potential. A fair amount of BT fans thought it was great in CB. PGI thought it knew what long time fans wanted. They were wrong, but they could never admit it. Combine that with the lies and, well, this is what you end up with.
