I'm not. I have my very own pack of critizism. I still try not to threaten, insult or troll the **** out of the company. I want them to learn from their mistakes in a healthy way.

Then, if you're not such a "suckup", aka not even playing the game, what the f*ck are you doing here?

I have just decided to live with it and move on, mostly because I don't know what the reasons were. I can absolutely understand if people can not and move on to supposedly greener pastures.

The core game mechanic is in and I like it very much. It's shooting big effing robots with other big effing robots. I never needed CW, nor is it needed in such games overall. CS, CoD 1+2, Battlefield and so on and so forth. They all don't need an overarching meta game to get their players hooked for decades.

See above.

I played for 12 months after release, I check in from time to time and see what's changed (usually nothing). I'm here because it's quite frankly insulting that PGI are releasing a new game before they finish the last one.

They made promises, promises by which people made the decision to spend money on the game. There were 3 such promises that interested me greatly - CW 3 months after launch, no coolant flush, no 3rd person view.

I spent money because of these details. They went back on all 3. They have no integrity, no desire to fulfill their promises and deliver the game as they pitched it. They have enough time to launch all of these new packages of mechs, but can't finish core functionality? Not good enough.

I was shocked Garth was fired and Niko was hired. Please bring back Garth, at least it seemed he cared about the game and the community.

Hey guys Im late to the party.

What exactly did Nikko (and/or other PGI employees) do that violated the ToS on reddit? And are we talking linkable, viewable missteps or is it conspiracy theory conjecture kind of stuff? Im at work, looking at this on phone and sixty pages of disjointed discussions are impossible to paw thru to find the golden nuggets. Can someone pm me the bottom line here please?

2014 has been a decent year for this game only way to improve relations with your fan base is to keep working hard and fulfill your promises. banning people for being disgruntled is just a terrible move. You best correct this before it gets worse.

In the Town Hall, Russ mentions multiple times about polls but also mentions that Niko is in charge of that and he (Russ) should have Niko make polls about things.

So, back in Niko's court.

Over 50 pages of feedback of one issue. (Still multiple issues)

There is lots of inappropriate posts, but still there is lots of proper statements.
I really hope PGI is analysing this reclamation.

Its not MWO hate, that's too easy answer.
Make your system running, that's all what customers are saying.

There is some major issues on customer satisfaction, is your sampling too narrow?

Game it self is somehow good enough to play, still, most of customers are waiting promises to get first plan executed --> aka cw and its features, with balanced game and no huge bugs on it.

Now problem is third party forum ban with similar reasons that some of customers had have from mwomercs forum. Not followed rules.

Forget those 3rd party places and focus your own issues on your own forums.
This is my customer point of view.

Its unfortunately that forum speech is focusing to personnel , just try to get it and handle it proper ways.

Keep on hanging, I want to have proper MW game, nothing else.

A bit late, but I do want to add my voice to the choir: It is time to repent, PGI. Way past time, actually, but better late than never.

Start fulfilling your promises, start delivering on what you said you would deliver. Not in 90 days, but next patch. And the patch after that. And so on.

Just give us the game we gave you all that money for, and you may actually come out ahead on all this mess.

I am not a Goon, but the Goonfear from Niko has reached new heights. It has turned in to a conspiracy against only him. And you need to make sure he can censor the whole interwebs back to when Al Gore made it in 1872.

The tears and false confidence fronting are the best part of my day. I'm going to archive the OP so I can read it before work. Every day.

Long story short

-Niko tried to take over the Transverse subreddit and used moderating powers on the Transverse subreddit to silence any dissent, to the point that the only thing remaining were developer posts.
-Reddit shadowbanned (they can only post with moderator approval) all of PGI staff because behaving as Niko did, using reddit as an advertising platform, is a violation of Reddit's Terms of Service.
-Niko comes here hoping players here will convince Reddit moderators to overturn the shadow bans.
-lulz ensue

Niko broke the rules of reddit and doesn't want to be help accountable, while the new MWO guidelines hold you accountable to talking about the game negatively on third-party websites. Lot of hypocrisy going on.

Narcoman, I don't see how thinking that employing a PR guy that calls one of the biggest PR disasters in MWO history 'amusing' while simultaneously managing to sabotage PGI's new project is smart. Even if the direction came from Russ, etc, this could have been handled so so much better.

For the record, I'm an ex-TESTie not a Goon. :P

Meanwhile, Transverse has earned nine whole backers in 24 hours. At this rate, they might reach a whole one hundred backers for the first month is up.

Star Citizens devs are just shaking in their boots.

This cannot be understated.

According to Bryan, they were freaking designing this travesty in 2012 and 2013. This isn't some brand new thing.

At the time when they said they were designing Community Warfare, AND WERE NOT, they were instead designing some OTHER game.

Russ, you said in the townhall you couldn't understand sometimes why people were so pissed off.
THIS IS THE KIND OF THING THAT MAKES US PISSED OFF.

Wait, wait wait what??!

Is there any proof of this, that they redirected funds and programming hours from MW:O to design that Travesty of the game they call Transverse ?

SOE did this with Planetside 2, and it worked. It worked phenomenally. I don't understand why PGI couldn't have just done this from the beginning. And even if it WAS IGP ******* it up and blocking them from doing it, why don't they do it NOW? When they're "Free" from IGP?

Honestly? I think PGI's still figuring that out. I think Russ has quite a bit of willpower, pride and a certain vision for this game. All of which are good leadership qualities, but they also can lead to blind spots and I think that's messing with them now.

Through all the vitrol, one thing is clear. Even the haters are passionate about MWO and want to play this game. That's right the goons, trolls and the founders who all walked away in frustration are waiting to come back if PGI would do just a few simple things. Mostly listen and acknowledge player feedback in a sincere and genuine way.

My father was a salesman most of his life. He told me one of the keys to salesman ship is sincerity. If you are sincere in your words and actions, then you win a sale. Works every time. If you're a cashier at McDonalds or selling a $500,000 Xerox printer.

Russ said in the Town Hall that they started working on Transverse in January of 2014.

Edit: And in twelve hours, this thread's view count doubles to 72,000. Hottest thread in MWO history right here, built entirely on animosity. Really says something doesn't it?

Ekman stated they used PGI staff to start working on Transverse in 2012. So instead of working on CW, they worked on another game.

So yeah, according to PGI this is true. Can we verify it, not sure. Do we need to once they admit it. No, we do not.

I just spent 45 minutes liking posts.

Win.

And yeah, even as a new player, ya'll are awful developers. Battlefield heroes in-browser beta had more UI flow and customization at launch then you guys do have now. On top of that, every day I play and read more and more, the more I think you guys are just using this game as a moneycow.

Which is kind of a mistake, considering just HOW LONG people have waited for a Mechwarrior game, and how so very willing everyone was to throw money at you when they thought work was actually happening on it. I've even began suggesting people not waste time with this or even join this game to play with me. Yeah, it's that bad.

... and that's leaving out all the other complaints.

Like sure, I have some ideas on making IS and Clan different but balanced, specifically using quirks and system-specific bonuses to semi-lore appropriate weaponry, to give each side their own 'feel' (industrial, slow, mass produced, hard hitting vs technologically advanced high range/high damage,) because, imo, IS should really have an upperhand in SOMETHING besides lights, but yanno what?

Why provide the feedback when it looks like you're just choking the proverbial chicken until it stops coughing up cash?
