UPDATE: 4/10/2014

So I thought I'd check again from time to time to see whether the ping has been improved and lo and behold something has happened and (knock on wood) my ping's gone back to close to what it was before! 284ms - which is around what is expected here in Western Australia - previously I used to get below 280ms as best measure.

Jon, if you are still reading this - I'm pretty sure this is possible due to you tirelessly looking into our network issues - we may not figure much into comp plays but kudos and thanks all the same looking after us regulars!

Before your server move I enjoyed 25-30 ping being nice and close to Toronto. Now it's 39-50 ping most maps, with up to 90ping during "high load" times.

That's my feedback. Hope you've got something for it.

Coming from Houston, Tx ... horrible connection issues with MWO today. Normally have 63-70 ping. Sometimes saw mid 200s today if I could stay connected. Saw bad lag and have connection issues while playing and in the mech bay. Ran Tracert twice.

I am a player of this game in Japan.

I have a connecting problem about ping.
Few months ago,I have good pings around 170.
But now I have pings over 270 and I can't enjoy this game enough.

South Africa here. Used to be able to play when the pings were 250ms but now they are 500ms+. Cant play at all anymore

Any update on the network issues? I've been experiencing horrendous ping recently in addition to the general increase in ping because of the data server switch. My normal ping is currently around 160 but more often than not I get pings of up to 270. Usually this unnaturally high ping persists through a whole match but sometimes in other matches my ping can be just fine. Even when my ping in-game is high, if I ping to the server during the match using the command terminal I still get the normal ping, i.e., around 160. Also, I don't see any other people in a match suffering from increased ping. The issue seems to occur only in MWO, not in other games, and only in-game. Pinging to the MWO server or for example some other Montreal based servers produces much healthier pings.
