Lol hmm. I'm thinking 4 PPCs and a gauss rifle on that Atlas.

If it will fit.

2 energy are ct, so nope. Can do that on an RS already....but it sucks, TBH.

Back in closed beta this mech was a beast, but a lot of things have changed since then.

Regardless, I'm glad they listened to players and brought this mech back to the field.

It's a hell of a day to be a MWO supporter.

Congrats, Bishop. Even total plebians like me know how much you've wanted your AH back, and now you get an AH with a Hero bonus! How awesome is that, eh?

Indeed, I harbor no illusions about it facing clanners off like it did other SHS Inner Sphere mechs. But I will happily run it anyway!!!

Thanks for keeping it positive Roland!

I don't care what they say, I'm taking full credit. My petition (from way back in closed beta and General Discussion 1.0) to restore the CN9-AH worked.

THBTHBTHBTHBTHBTHBTHBTHBTHBTHBTHBTHB!!!!

I feel genuinely sorry for the AS7-S...competing with the CN9-AH, KC and the Mad Dog, poor guy never had a chance.

On the bright side, the Atlas only has to compete with the AH for two months.

edit: now if only we can get the Urbie!

It has a RA that could carry an AC/20 and 2 missile points in the LT. Back in Beta you could jam a 350XL engine in it and have some serious fun, but now it will be slow.

Still that big AC and 2 SRM6s with a very tight shot pattern and the legendary Centurion tankyness will make for a good brawler.

We might still get lucky and have a 300 engine cap a la the CN9-D

Used to be a 260 cap.300 is not really viable.Crit Space/ weight is very limited.

300XL is viable, works like a champ for the YLW. Would of course limit your missiles, but be a nice option.

Yeah, I'm happy to see it back, at long last!

And since all the Founder's packs came with MC, everyone who ever used in it CB gets to pilot it again!

I know i use an XL300 on my Wang, but if you chose an XL 300 on an AH you have less than half a ton of weight for ammunition (after the standard 3 ton for the AC/20) and have to cut armor for the missile ammunition.

If you take Ferro you have only 3 crit space for ammunition total.

Without Ferro you have only 3.43 tons for ammunition total and have to cut on armor than.

Not my ride ;)

not my first choice either, but having the option would be nice.

Strip the weapons off a CN9-D and you'll have 23.5 tons to play with. 23 tons is enough for an AC20, 2 SRM4s, and 5 tons of ammo. Add a half ton of armor to that and call it good.

My favorite Mech of Closed Beta, killed off for the YLW...long have many of the CB Medium jocks pined for it's return.....

http://mwomercs.com/...21#entry3724421

Thank you for this.

I would of been SUPER excited about this "Before" they destroyed the CT on the Centurion. What used to be the toughest medium in the game now goes down quicker than a hunchback loosing it's RT.

Not trying to be a debi-downer. I am grateful and happy they brought it back, just wish i got to try it back in it's prime.

Most real centy fans never Zombied it anyhow. So no biggy for me!
