Apologies if I have missed this somehwere, but is this to say that there will be no A La Carte option for the Mad Dog and its invasion variant down the line? I say this as someone who has been anxiously awaiting this mech since beta but doesn't have the financial resources to get two clan packs. :P

There will be an A La Carte option .

So, why the mixing of Inner Sphere and Clan mech names? I thought they were all listed as either IS naming or Clan naming for the packages?

They're all IS names. Not a single one is a clan name.

they put the most populair mech in the history of battletech behind a 210 dollar paywall. and now they put the second most populair clan mech behind a 360 dollar paywall sorry but thats taking advantage of your customers no matter how you look at it. I have to buy 330 dollars worth of mechs i dont want to get the one I do want (not counting the timberwolf)

Or, you can just get it for C-Bills. Since it will be released for C-Bills.

I don't even care if you underperform in every possible way for your weight class Mad Dog, you are mine.

Yes the command chair specifies that it stays open as long as the Clan Wave programs stay open

Some players have more problems than others getting their cards accepted, does Paypal work for you?

I know what may be the issue. Since threr is no address requirement my card often flags these video game based purchases (not just from MWO-I've had it with other games too) as potentially fraudulent and I have to call or go online and verify the purchase or reactivate my card. It happened to me the last time I bought some MC but literally 10 seconds of time to log into my car online banking fixed the issue for me.

Well, there's our second ECM Clan 'Mech in the form of the Koshi C-configuration, and they could easily do B or D for the other one along with the Prime. Moveover, it's the speedy light - the Spider to the Kit Fox-Raven. The Ice Ferret strikes me a bigger, better Cicada.

so I guess with this sale, they will be able to fund Transverse now.

Wrong. The Mad Dog is the Clan designation for the 60 ton mech they are giving as the uber freebie.
The IS name for that mech is the Vulture. Feel free to check Sarna, or the 3050 TRO.

The Meth Lynx isn't really that "speedy," it only goes 124.74 kph after speed twerk.

It's not behind a paywall, just available ahead of normal schedule and with a custom skin. Good lord.

Hey Russ.

Really love how these Mechs turned out, but why no Shadow Cat!!! I would have bought a gold one in a flash if it were available! Hopefully it won't take too long to get MASC up and running. (Wouldn't mind a single bit if MASC Mechs were released without it :) )

Will we end up seeing another package in the future with the remaining TRO 3050 Clan Mechs?

Oh JESUS for the love of Kerensky PLEASE PLEASE learn your mechs!!! The Shadow Cat and for that matter the Cauldron-Born are BOTH 3058 mechs please before crying out check your TROs oh and before you ask TRO = Technical Readout.

Sorry if I sound pissed off but the constant whinning about mechs that should be in is getting on my nervers, learn your Timelines and THEN start to whine and *****, and for the comedian who wanted the Grizzly, that is ALSO a 3058 mech and a SECOND LINER to boot. Guys PGI and doing Battletech NOT Mechwarrior timeline.

Although we had intended to open Wave 2 for sale today, we needed more time to ensure the quality of the Wave 2 web page which includes upgrade paths to past a la carte customers.

Therefore we plan to open Clan Wave 2 sales on the 1 year anniversary date of Wednesday September 17th at 4pm.

In the meantime this should answer the majority of your questions regarding the package:

Still not buying anything before we actually get to see hard results of the new direction the game is supposed to take.

But: I'm wondering right now about the fact that they are making another Clan pack. The last pack was supposed to be one of those bottlenecks on which nearly all staff at PGI worked and which took all of their resources. So ... aren't we supposed to get new maps and CW really soon? How will the new Clan pack interfere with that?

FYI the Loki Prime is a heavy Mech with an ECM suit, if I am not mistaken the only heavy with an ecm so that makes it number 3.

Will be interesting to see what the predominant mad dog builds will be... my guess is that dual Gauss and 6 X LRM 15 will both be popular, perhaps with the odd dual LBX 20 sprinkled in.

New mechs sure but I just wish it was an actual fast light mech for once that could atleast stand toe to toe with the 150kph jenner (I know that aint the clans thing but they still exist), the mist lynx goes 118.8kph, its a pitty the Ice Ferrit is faster, Id prob go for that mech in the long run.

Will there be a third Clan Wave up for sale to appease everyone when CW is "delayed" again?
