Judging by how colors have been sold in general, it would be used for all mechs. It's not as if it were the specific Clan variant with the special camo (like it was a hero camo)... they have 4 different Clan factions involved here...

This still has to be clarified regardless. The FAQ only tells you when what you get at the date of when you purchase it... it doesn't actually say "if you purchase it before this specified date, you get these rewards"... it says "if you purchase it between these specified dates, you get this particular reward". There's an important distinction if you read how the FAQ is worded.

I think you are trying to read too much into it. The sale page tells you what you would you be entitled to. The FAQ tells you when you will be given what you are entitled to.

I think you're making the mistake. You're assuming what is said was something else.

If it said what I've just written, you're correct, but it does not. The bonus for that particular month depends on when you purchase it. So if you bought it early today, you're only getting that cockpit item + 30 days of premium time and no more. That's what I'm trying to say here.

I'm gonna hazard a guess that this is kinda like the medallions situation from the Phoenix Pack, except colors are involved. Picking the same Clan will get you the same colors (which is no benefit), but you would get more of that clan's cockpit items. It would make the most sense to select each clan so you can collect all the colors if that is what you are aiming for (and all the various cockpit items)... or picking the same clan and assume you'll never change from it.

Having made my purchase today, I have satisfied the conditions for all 4 monthly rewards as stated on the sale page. Incidentally, the sale page also tells me when I will receive them and they match the dates given in the FAQ.

If you didn't get the rewards of October in November, I'll be pointing this out to people who wonder about it then.

If it replaces the GaussJager or GaussCat, then yes. Besides, Clan Gauss is better suited for saving tonnage than IS Gauss Rifles. 12 ton weapon vs 15 ton weapon having virtually most of the same properties is asking for trouble.

Well, seeing as the MadDog has them mounted on either side, it can't skimp on armour safely and just shield one side. Loki can dual gauss with 50 rounds and 7.5 tons of armour, while the MadDog would have to sacrifice either one gauss rifle, or just run two tons of ammo... Neither are very good at it, but I guess it can be done.
