Have they posted info anywhere about upgrading Wave 1 Al A Carte purchases to the Masakari package yet? I read somewhere they were trying to get it out over the weekend, but its the day before the Mad Dog and I can't find any info on it outside of the FAQ so far.

I've bought the Man O' War Package and have $130 to upgrade my $110 Al A Carte purchases to the Masakari Package. C'mon PGI, don't you want my $130? =D

As of right now no. I'm trying to find the thread where someone had this issue with some dev input where it sounded like that could change, but for now only the mechs you buy prior to the sept 30 cutoff will get it.

this was in response to a support ticket I put in on the 15th. So a little inaccuracy on my part. Basically sometime between now and the end of the month, which is what they've been telling us from the FAQ and Jon's post in the General forums stating soon.

No problem. I wouldn't sweat it too much since the faction colors and paints for the faction rewards will be in by Dec 16th. And IMO they look much better.

Thanks for the info. I'm disappointed to not get to play around with the Mad Dog but am alright with that at least knowing they're working on getting it out prior to the Sept 30 cut off. (assuming the camo bonus applies to the Mad Dog as well)

Yeah, but I like the options, and the Polygon has worked well with the clan mechs I have already, so if nothing else I could make them uniform. /

I kinda wish the Faction paints would apply to the Masakari package of mechs.

That said, welp last time around I was between jobs and struggling. Someone awesome gifted me the full set.

This time I've got a stable job where everyone except top management likes me. Though hey with night shifts he doesn't have to like me.

So I'll be taking the plunge again (I did buy all the stuff I did before the Masakari pack). 30 bucks tonight (to get the 'get by the 23rd' premium bonus). And gradually I'll 'elevate' up to Man O' War.

Sure I'll be late to the Mad Dog party. But that's fine, I'll know every way til Sunday in how to kill them before I get my own.

You mean the faction camos? The colors will be unlocked for every mech, as they're not mech specific.

Same here...I wasn't excited for the colors included with Wave 1, but these new faction specific colors are great. Kinda wish they added more clans for the rewards in though for some more variety.

The colors for every mech, I know that much. I was referring to the camos/patterns rather than the colors, I kinda wish they would unlock for the original mechs as well (but I know they won't. Instead I know they will be available for me to buy on the older Clan mechs).

It only says for the "Pre-ordered" mechs. The rule of thumb is "this set" of pre-ordered mechs. The FAQs list that any rewards from the Wave 2 pack will apply exclusively to the Wave 2 pack.

So unless something says otherwise.

Hello everyone.
Ive been away for a good long time.

Looking at the clan packs.
I understand well be able to upgrade as long as they are available.

Few quick questions to make sure I do it the right way.

How many times can we upgrade?
ie, can I bump up to the next $30 level every couple weeks, till maxed?
Or is it a one time upgrade?

Also, how do the bonuses work?
I imagine they dont stack correct?

Like if I start at the $60, it comes with 7 days premium, if I bump to $90 (which comes with 30 days), will I get another 23 days for a total of 30?
Or will i miss out on the difference and only get the 7?

Likewise if I do the $90 now, and bump to $120 later on, do I get another 30 days for a total of the 60 that comes with the $120 level normally?

Or to get what is on the level, do you have to buy in at that level?

If this can be answered asap, Id appreciate it.
Id love to get that Atlas bonus.
And while I think im going to come in at $60 right now since money is tight, I dont want to miss out on 3 weeks of premium time if I dont do the $90 now.

I would still like to see some of my Clan preferred mechs (Fire Moth, Viper, and Executioner), and I'm willing to have them without MASC implemented for the time being.

1) As much as you want.
I started with the lowest Phoenix Pack, and worked my way up one at a time, and I cannot imagine they would have changed that

2/3) Premium time values stack for the monthly rewards at least

Don't remember about the packages values, but I would immagine that if you got the 7 days, you would at least get upgraded to the other 23/53 days.

If I preorder the $30 pack now, does that secure the preorder bonuses for the other mechs when I upgrade later? But since the mechs are staggered release it's difficult to figure out when 'preorder' ends and 'presale' starts. (it's really not clear here)

I assume I can upgrade before the dec 15 deadline and get all that stuff for all my mechs that I upgraded to. the preorder bonuses were retro active in wave 1 as long as the upgrades happened before the final release date

If you order the $30 pack you will get the bonus's when they are injected so if you ordered $30 now you should get all the rewards that are due from today onwards, however you will only got the polygon skin on those that you own at the time of injection. So if you later bump up to the $60 package it wont get the polygon skin after the injection date. But as all the other rewards are not time dependant you should get the rest

To use the same terms as Russ is using, it's technically still preorder if I upgrade later, at least under certain conditions and not presale since it can be upgraded from 30 right to the 120 prior to dec 15. but that's not certain since the FAQ is lacking on that department of upgrades and it's possible only mechs bought before end of this month will get it and/or mechs bought prior to injection even though every upgrade made is 'preorder' ie going from 30 now, to 120 sometime prior to dec 15.

ergo no presale packs were bought and only a preorder pack was made.

Still seems that preorder is still going on ontil that date it seems then.
