Then stop acting like you are. You get right down to it the only one who should be answering questions on PGI's behalf should be PGI representatives.

Have you never been on a forum before? This is how community forums work...

Do you really think PGI is going to answer everyone's individual questions? No, they answer what they do, and everything else is up to the rest of us to cover. Be thankful that some of us DO pay attention enough to answer your lazy questions.

I just got an answer from him, actually: https://twitter.com/...502302831644673

Cellinor, in his own backhanded way Cimarb is trying to help you. He is right about PGI not answering questions that they have already put in their FAQ page. Believe me, he is actually being nice to you.... Wait... Did I just actually come to Cimarb's defense?! Good Lord, what is the verse coming to these days! ~Grins.

Seriously though. This is how forum support works. Do not be offended.

Sorry for what is probably a silly question, but I cannot find any information anywhere. When does the 90 days of premium time from purchasing a Man-O-War get injected to the account?

Per the Wave Two FAQ: "All other content will be delivered on December 16th."

Incorrect, it clearly states:

Quote

Q: I just purchased, where is my Clan Collection?
A: The Mechs will be provided in stages as the content is made available in the game.
  • The Vulture will be delivered starting September 23rd, 2014.
  • The Ice Ferret will be delivered starting November 4th, 2014.
  • The Mist Lynx will be delivered starting November 18th, 2014.
  • The Hellbringer will be delivered starting December 2nd, 2014.
  • The Gargoyle will be delivered starting December 16th, 2014.
All other content will be delivered by December 16th, 2014.

that is the very 1st question answered in the FAQ, note the bolded section

Exactly. I do apologize that it comes across as backhanded sometimes, but as every good parent knows, sometimes the only way to get it through to someone is to be blunt about it. No offense intended, regardless.

Cimarb. No need to apologize, you were blunt but perfectly honest. No need to put on kid gloves with us. If were made of stained glass then we need to bolster our reactions. I myself have been abrupt in the forums from time to time. I try not to be a hypocrite, so I would like to thank you for your help. =]

You CAN pick one of each faction, yes, but what this allows us loyal faction players to do is choose the same set multiple times to get multiple copies of what we will actually use.

Think of it like that "value pack" of pudding that has your favorite flavor and three other favors that turn your stomach, thereby having 3/4 of your purchase wasted on something you will never eat. Would it not be better to have a "value pack" that just has your favorite in it?

I'm still confused on this... My impression was that if I pick Clan Wolf faction content for example, that all of my Clan Wave 2 mechs would each get the colors, patterns and a Clan themed Warhorn for example. If this is not the case with the cockpit items, and you only get 1 for each faction selection then I understand why you'd want 4 of the same.

Personally I am not too bothered about the cockpit items, aside from the warhorns, and would simply like access to a wider variety of colors and patterns as an added bonus. Personally I am a Clan Wolf loyalist, but I do have to admit the faction CGB camo and colors look sick

And for that reason I just want all of it

I totally feel the same way about Smoke Jag camo and Jade Falcon colors

Me too! Although, I think I am going with Cimarb on this one. I love Smoke Jaguars camo patters too much, so I am dedicating mine to them. =]

Yeah, I am not going to deny that I would like to get all four camo patterns, just to have them - I am a completionist/collector like that - but getting multiples of the cockpit items is just too tempting to pass up.

Each Tier of the package comes with "1 choice" for faction content. That faction content is a set of cockpit items, set of 3 colors, and a camo pattern. For instance, if I buy the Tier 2 pack, I get two choices, so I can choose the CGB and CW content, getting 1 set of each Faction cockpit items, 6 colors and 2 camos, or I can choose two CGB content sets and get 2 sets of CGB cockpit items, 3 colors and 1 camo.

For most people, this would seem like a very poor deal, and I totally get that, just like I think it is a total waste to buy the mechs ala carte. It is about options, though, because I will never use the other faction items, so they are useless to me and it makes more sense to get multiples of the ones I WILL use.

Wait, we don't get each set for all of the 'Mechs? Oh...hmm...I know camo works that way, but colours unlock for ALL units though, don't they?

If that's that's the case, I'd just get one of each so I have 12 new colours for all my 'Mechs to use.

Hey, how do we choose these, anyway? In-game? On our profiles? How will we even know when they arrive? (sorry, I've never bought a package before).

Well, the choice thing is a bit new (I think, not sure about founders and pheonix stuff) anyway... so we're all in the dark.
But I'm sure they'll make it clear enough and will probably allow you either to choose in game when you do get it injected, or give you unlimited time to pick on the site before you can get it.

I'm sure it won't be a situation where you'd be able to miss out on picking it or get penalized or something.

Everything should inject on the 16th of Dec so it should be around that time.

What Tamer said, but it will all be announced and available BY December 16th - meaning it may be before that, but that is the "no later than" deadline. We will likely pick them in the same manner we did the Phoenix Pack.

The camo unlock is for all chassis that you purchased, so if you choose the CGB faction as a choice, it unlocks that camo for ALL of your Wave 2 mechs. If you choose CGB and CSJ, all of your Wave 2 mechs will have those camos unlocked. etc.

The things we do not know yet, though, are whether the Invasion variants will be able to use the Clan camo (unlikely) or whether the Wave 1 mechs will be able to use them (even more unlikely).

Colors unlock globally, yes, so if you buy a color, it is open to EVERY mech, not just the ones in a certain pack or technology type.

I'm not that phased about the Invasion/Hero variant camo thing, but I am sad that the camo would probably not go back to my Wave 1 Timber Wolf :(

I highly dislike the Invasion camo, so it is a bigger deal for me. I just want to have the CGB camo on ALL my mechs, lol

Personally I think that PGI should have only given options for the Loki and Gargoyle, that way it would've made sense. You're better off buying the packs for the light/medium as they're both cheaper than just buying one of them.

They should have also retro-actively given the invasion camo to the Wave 1 mechs from the pre-orders at least. Only 1/3 of the clan mechs getting it would suck.

All the clan mechs with the (I) designation have the invasion camo, no matter which wave they came from.
