So if you brought mechs ala carte you would have to buy the rest (in multiple purchases in some cases) and then spend another 120$ for the Mad dog.

That's a significant investment for a light end heavy that may get tweaked into oblivion on cbill release.

The hellbringer and gargoyle will be interesting with limited pod space; not really a fan of the light and medium but choices be limited shy of a shadowcat sans masc

I fear for the Woman O' Peace's viability. It's only hope is being pampered with a crapload of quirks, and/or getting one of the energy-based variants.

The Lelbringer should be okay due to the Magical Jesus Box.

The Ice Hamster I dunno about yet. Will have to do more spreadsheetwhoring.

The Meth Lynx will still be a lot slower than most IS lights, while being much less armored than its 35 ton IS overlords as well. It should probably at least match IS light firepower or slightly surpass it, though.

The bonus Mad Doge will mostly depend on if we get the Alt A variant. If we do, it can be a trollolololo missile boat better than the venerable Angry Kitten. Or I guess if it gets cooldown quirks on the Alt C arms, you could go super-dakka with it.

Heheheheh :)

Though it occurs to me that PGI might offset the low pod-space somewhat with good quirks. Higher fire rate ftw?

yeah. Hopefully good agility too. My La Malinche proves limited firepower can work on Assaults if they are mobile, agile and tanky enough.

LRM 15 and 4 Medium Pulse Lasers with AMS and BAP usually. Its an option. I choose efficiency and consistent fire over size of the weapon. Summoner is good for striking but not much else. It's highly agile and capable of changing sniper positions very quickly - as well as get into hard to reach places on a moments notice.

I'm thinking, as long as it has a good set of Hardpoints, a lot of lighter weapons with a few HeatSinks would make the Gargoyle a damned fine striker.
Take one around on a Flank, send him crashing into the sides with the durability of a Victor with the speed of a Medium while your team crushes the front .. It'd be delicious.

How do you build your Summoners anyways? I haven't been able to throw together a build that works yet ._.

My Two favorite Clan Mechs are in this. Unfortunately, one of them is only available if you get all the packs.

The Other is the troll of heavies.

I HAVE A MIGHTY NEED.

I guess you can load up on some ERML and/or ERLL and troll people like you're a fat humanoid Jenner?

Or just wait for its CB/MC release. Chill. (you don't get the invasion variant this way, though, granted)

Can I trade my founders mechs for the Vulture? I haven't used the founders mechs since helping with the closed beta testing.

Pleased as Punch about the Fenris.

Will enjoy the Koshi, Loki and it will be fantastic to have a 60 ton battlemech (lowest weight in a tier) be just as effective if not more effective than top tonnage mech in a tier.

The Man'o'war concerns me, but it could very well end up being the awesome I wish I always had, or it could be the clan version of the pretty baby. =)

Totally agree. I bought the Thor and Mad Cat separately because the $240 was just too much.

142 Kph speed. (after tweak)

Arm reflex

depending on omnipods released, 4x C-ER Mlaser 2x C-SRM6 (or C-aSRM4s) and an ER SLAser.

Yeah, can't think of any use for that.

The Lolki is 65 tons. :P

I don't think you'll like the Woman O' Peace. It basically has the same speed as the Suckoner, but with 1 ton less pod space and no JJs. Unless we get lucky with some good quirkage and/or the laser boating variants, I don't see a bright future for this robot.

Looks like i don't have a choice, even though the Mad Dog is the only mech I've been waiting to buy with cash...and the only one that i can't buy unless I'm willing to spend £360, which I'm not.

Great choices, I think. The only thing that bums me out is that Loki was always going to be my favourite heavy Clan mech, second to the Mad Dog. But for the first time in the history of MWO, I think Alex Garcia (if he's still doing the mech designs) missed the mark. I think the Loki has looked better in previous MW-titles.

For me, the concept sketch of the Loki was a let down. It reminds me too much of the Dragon with its snout.

But other than that, I think it's all good.

I suspect the man o' war is gonna have issues with those really low slung arms. I am looking forward to the Ice Ferret though.

To the people wondering about the 'faction content', in the town hall russ mentioned it would likely be faction affiliated skins for your mechs. He also mentioned they would be retroactive for the other clan mechs as well. So you can deck out your paint job to look affiliated with your clan of choice.

I look forward to sniping in my ECM'd Hellbringer with 2 CERPPCs. Surely the primary configuration will find its way into the game.
