Funny you say that as if they are incompetent enough there are procedures in place where you can remove them from office by vote.

The problem is...none of that has been proven yet, and everyone is dancing around because of their new King Crab and a bunch of words. Nothing has changed. They did this same thing earlier this year...then radio silence came again.

No, we aren't.

OK some of us are.

Most of us are seeing this as a chance that things might turn around, finally.

And I too am at work, having not played this game hardly at all in recent months, and not much overall for the last year. I might not even get that 100 matches played thing.

Again, "free stuff is nice" but it is not giving them a reprieve in and of itself. It is a gesture, an olive branch. What happens going forward is how we'll make our final judgement on this come December or so.

I can answer that though I no longer fit into that slot...

The flaming of the game and trolling of the forums becomes its own game after you stop playing the game itself. Ive done it, you can see it in my history. The game stops being fun and riling ppl up on the forums/posting on the forums becomes more fun than the game was in the first place and that **** starts to snowball fast.

so, because player A is not happy, he decides his funny is to troll and try to make player A, B, and C, who are happy, miserable?

And this seems healthy, well adjusted, and not outright dickish?

as is discussing moderation?

Warning someone that their actions could have consequences is worse than just narcing them out to get them banned?

Id rather get the warning from another player than them go straight for the report button

also; great way to ignore my message by the way

selective reading and answering seems to be the flavor going on here, anyhow, yes? Also, which message am I ignoring? You pointed out a possible issue to someone, as a PSA, just reminding you to be careful yourself, if they are indeed so trigger happy.

I like that I can troll someone just by being happy.

I like MWO! Mr Mallan, how does this make you feel?

When I piss off a boss at work and he gives me a "Crap" job. I thank him, tell him the change of pace is welcome, do the job without complaint till I get to go back to my regular job. I have been Trolling with happiness for 22 years! It is very rewarding! ^_^

Note that I deleted that when I noticed you posted about it later on. You posted the post of the reply of my post too fast

so two wrongs make a right here is what youre saying?

Then those ppl being dickish are in the right?

Cause even though I can relate to it or explain it it doesnt make them RIGHT for doing it. Youll notice how I said I no longer fit in that role as well.

New counters to ECM? Seriously? lol

Crap

First game I've played that went into release THEN added unit creation.

And they added some major desync issues on top of all of that.

Uh-uh. No. Wrong. You're changing goalposts. A while ago you said they did NOTHING. Now you're conveniently jumping to a new argument without acknowledging you were mistaken with the first one.

Additionally, a lot of people don't share your opinion that the other stuff is crap or fluff, so stop trying to put it beyond debate.

I actually agree with you, but what I have found is many who have "legit" issues, still have fallen into this category. And simply cannot see it for themselves.

And gamers, well, we seem to be an entitled lot, to begin with, for some dang reason, lol.

depends on what you define as the "second wrong", I suppose?

Also, let's see, how did you phrase it? "Hey I just said I can explain it, never did I say it was right", kind of fits this too. NEver said it was right, but also kinda pointing out, that when party A is consistently cherrypick sign and ignoring the relevant, than the only point in replying at all, would indeed be simply to return the favor.

Certainly not a second wrong being a right. Fighting fire with fire seldom has a positive effect.

Second wrong would be selective reading in the face of selective reading unless I read your comment wrong

Welll..... bit of an oversimplification in a lot of examples.

Player A is angry and tries to express that.
Player B who is happy trounces on the thread and dismisses and belittles their thoughts.

and vice versa

Players A is happy and tries to express that.
Players B is unhappy and trounces on the thread and dismisses and belittles their thoughts.

To try and paint it as simply being "angry people are trolls" is a bit disingenuous at best and the same goes for labeling anyone not unhappy as a cheerleader. there's extreme PoVs from both sides.

On top of that, there's often a lot of miscommunication and misunderstanding. English not being the first language for all lends to that as well. You also have people who just aren't very articulate or let their emotional state add into ideas that, at the core, are actually really good feedback.

Both sides pounce just as quickly as the other does.
