Almost the same here, Founders, Phoenix and $120 Clan and I don't get the a second King Crab. Poor old me, I should be compensated with an Urbanmech.

Edit: Note the sarcasm, I like what I am getting.

2nd Edit: It wouldn't hurt to release an Urbanmech though.

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!

I DESERVE THE URBANMECH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(ok....switching to decaf now before I embarrass myself further........ )

Please don't get me started on the whaling..... I'm pretty sure with what I have spent here, I have the Japanese whaling fleets lickign their chops to find me. *sigh*

Honestly speaking, if they did whale rewards by doing a bell curve and rewarded upper percentile spenders, I think people would think PGI was making stuff up.

As much fun as people poked at the gold mechs, people have actually bought them, and some actually several of them. There are a lot of people who buy MC just on a whim at USD100 at a time.

tl;dr, if a spending e-peen contest begins, I can say for a fact many people who think they got shafted because they 'spent more than others' will realise that its all very relative.

because when you buy MC, you know exactly what you're in for. When people bought the Legendary Founders, they didn't know if the game was vaporware or would tank in 6 months. When people bought the Phoenix Overlord, they didn't know if their mechs would turn out to be completely shite and irrelevant (which in some chasis they did). You are being rewarded for FAITH, perhaps that is a better term for the reward tiers instead of loyalty

Yup. I would bet I am in the top 5%. And I bet the top 1% of spenders dwarf what i have paid in. Good gosh....500 dollar vanity mechs? Woof. But hey, they have supported the game I enjoy, so more power to them.

Now....if they had been reflective "Burning Chrome"? *looks innocent*

Yeah. That too. And considering the whole of 2013? Where we weren't sure if it was faith, or we were just suckers? (OK, still not 100% sure on that account.... but let's not get technical, OK?)

Cripes, don't get anyone started on that. That horse has been beaten, buried, fossilized and now sits in museum.

Well, maybe they could do something like that for christmas. We got a 1 year gift, maybe we can get a christmas gift.

People who spent 0-49 dollars on this game get a gingerbread cockpit item
People who spent 50-99 dollars get a jingle bells warhorn
People who spent 100-199 dollars get a mistletoe hanging cockpit item
People who spent 200-299 dollars get a Bitching Betty decal
People who spent 300-500 dollars get all the Closed Beta mechs in their original skins. E.g. Burgundy Dragon.
People who spent 500-999 dollars get a Gold Locust
People who spent 1000 dollars or more get the Urban mech

PS: Anthar Prime, why would you blur those mechs in your sig like that? :(

I think if you dropped $1000+ they should make a giant robot in your likeness with 6 ballistic hardpoints and a mechbay to house it.

I actually covered that before. Copy and paste from another thread

So people who bought $100 MC packs around the time of Phoenix didn't buy during major balancing issues? They knew what was going on with pgi internally? The people who bought MC right after founders in 2012 didn't buy with faith that the game would improve? The people who buy hero mechs get to try them before they buy them? People who buy and activate large chunks of premium time get to know that the game won't make big changes that they won't like.
That isn't the case. There is not much of a difference. And somebody that spent more money simply spent more money which is more support to pgi.

I'd rather they just use one of my designs. I think a robot likeness of a 6'3 redhead would be kinda unintimidating.

Sensitive for them? Lol. Cute.

Yes, PGI makes a loyalty gesture, unsolicited. People complain about how they did it. I'm sure that will incite them to want to pursue further actions in the future.

Maybe people need to stop feeling that they should be entitled to everything people give away? Yeah, it's not the way I probably would have set up the program. But it ain't my program. Ain't my company.

Maybe people should at least first try saying "Thank You" for what they did get, before complaining about what they did not?

*SMH*

First, don't try to make it sound like a loyalty gesture is somehow from their pure altruistic heart. It's PR, it's good business. Nothing wrong with it but you're acting like the OP's comments are some how tears. They are not.

Why don't you let PGI figure out what they consider ingracious instead of crying for them, when it's pretty clear Dario's post was pretty reasonable.

Like any product, service etc....people are going to comment. People are going to wish for a "better" (as they see it) version and there's nothing wrong with that kind of feedback. There was nothing ingracious about his OP.

Not really. Remember, with MC, you KNOW and control exactly what you intend to get. Unless you go 'oh, I just feel like buying MC today for no particular reason', in which case you're strange, and should be checked up :P

Whereas with backer packs, there is entirely a chance what you're getting could be atrocious. Certainly was the case with the Phoenix mechs.

Well like I said you don't actually get to try hero mechs before you buy them. Actually you don't even get to try regular mechs before you buy them unless they are a trial and then you only get the trial set up.

Another copy and paste

"IIRC you could pre-order Phoenix all the way up to when it launched and ordering it earlier got you bonuses (so again value for added by buying early). So actually you could just buy Phoenix and get your stuff really quick. Though I'm still not sure why that would be a big deal, its not like the Phoenix mechs were drastically different. You basically just pre-ordered a set of mechs that weren't in the game yet. And you don't always get instant gratification from buying MC. Again I'm not sure why you think that is such a big deal but since you have to buy MC in packs (similar to Phoenix) you don't just get to buy exactly what you need. And buying a bigger pack gets you more value. Plenty of people buy large packs of MC and then sit on it for a while waiting for the mechs they want to come out even if said mechs haven't been announced yet. Or you just buy small chunks of premium a lot and get less for your money. And on top of that you couldn't use your banked MC to buy the Phoenix or clan packs.
So again the people that buy early and spend big all at once already get benefits. I don't see why the people that support the game at least as much as those people shouldn't get stuff just because they gave PGI money in a different way at a different time."

Also the packs are often times a good deal compared to buying mechs seperate. Overlord got you 4 mechs totaling 225 tons with 30% cbill bonuses, 8 regular mechs, 12 mech bays, and a bunch of premium and other stuff the earlier you bought. for just a bit more than the cost of 225 tons of hero mechs.

Plus your ignoring that I'm not talking just MC. You could spend $460 on PRE-ORDER packs and not get the KC.

I am rather appreciative that PGI Is bringing the CNT-AH back from the dead and giving us a AS7-S (For those who are eligible)
