I forget who but they said it was first to go to cbills. I bet this mech is going to be bad like the summoner. The hit boxes will be screwed up or something.

I personally don't find most "OP" mechs to be much fun. There's really no challenge. Even mechs like the Direwolf can be considered OP yet they're also pretty weak in some respects. I've seen one painfully try and get away from me while I just hammered at his back, unable to turn quick enough to catch me. However, if he would of saw me coming and was able to keep me in front of him at all times, I would of easily been toast.

I'm sure it'll have it's weaknesses and people will just have to work on finding them.

You forget the part where it's inferior to the Timberwolf
But go ahead and complain.

Hitbox depending, it will be good.

We'll have it January, at any rate. It has a nasty short range loadout.

P2W when it's going to be c-bill available in exactly two months?

P2W = only ever available for money, and it's better than the Timber Wolf.

Yeah, the Mad Dog that's the first for general release is P2W, not the only heavy in the game with ECM.

Most likely based on the shape of the mech, it will be pretty fragile. It has that long snout that means depending on the hit boxes, it will either shed side torsos in a blink or find itself getting cored even from shots fired from behind it. Also the arms are tiny, spindly things that won't shield anything so torso twisting isn't going to do a damn thing for it.

Going to be pay to lose most likely and considering it requires a $360 investment that is going to a big pay to lose.

Yup. 60 ton Heavy Mech with dragon-like armor and fairly big shoulders. It will be P2W for sure since most anything in the current meta can blow its sides off, hitboxes or no. Its another Clan Mech that can carry a big payload like the Timber. But the Timber outclasses it in a lot of things since it can mount JJs and the same loadouts cept for the 6 SRM6 build.

Totally P2W... XD

Unfortunately, anything the Mad Dog does, the Timber Wolf does much better.

A 60 ton heavy??? Seriously?

I don't even think it will compare favorably to a Stormcrow let alone the Hellbringer or Timberwolf.

You should start a separate thread and predict that it's dead on arrival and doesn't change the meta at all.

Then just bump whichever thread contains the most accurate prediction and you come off like a genius.

I'm trying to think of when the lightest mech in any weight class ever became the new go-to mech. All I can think of is the Victor. And then it was only for a relatively brief period, after the Highlander and Atlas had reigned for quite a while.

As much as we would all like to think otherwise, the MWO F2P model of pre-release (4 months +) for the next level of equipment is basically P2W light. Right now we are still waiting for the Stormcrow and the Timber Wolf to drop for the masses, until then we are very much living in a P2W game, but after that? Will any of the next wave of Clan mechs be strong enough to be considered P2W for those months before it's real release? Who knows, but if anything could, it's the Mad Dog.

Not that it matters of course. The model makers ignored Alex's design and ruined the Mad Dog with gangly legs and stupid, stubby arms. It's like MW4 all over again.
