Seriously, there's more demand for CW than there is for knockdowns and collision damage. Give us the ability to die for our faction of choice. Then let us kill ourselves running into each other.

You'd rather have collisions in the game we have now vs getting community warfare (IE, a reason to fight all these matches)?
I am making an assumption, but mostly based off of what I've seen here on the forums and heard in TS. CW can't come fast enough. Collisions would be nice, but CW is the most wanted feature by most.

oh well.... today I went with a centurion totally stock, a BT classic. ac10/2ml/lrm10 and 200standard engine.
Wow. I was feeling esthatic, and I was quite seeing the hexagones while I was walking/running.
Absolutely, MWO needs to go towards Battletech: slow down mechs/heat scale/ammo explosion/DFA ecc.
It is great to be "old"

Now, seriously, collisions are nice to have sometime... probably... but only after CW.

But now, a fun grind...
Lets just say from my latest experiences in Battletech, the best way to beat a Clan mech is to knock it over.
Even better if you have two mechs kick the same leg at the same time, completely crippling it, and then laugh and poke at it as it tries to fight you while holding itself up on one arm.
Quote
-------------------
Physical attacks for BattleMaster BLR-1G (Lordred)
Kick (Left leg) at Daishi (Dire Wolf) Prime (Koniving); needs 3, rolls 6 : - Direct Blow - hits (using Kick table) RL
Daishi (Dire Wolf) Prime (Koniving) takes 18 damage to RL.
11 Armor remaining.
Physical attacks for Shadow Hawk SHD-2D (Lordred)
Kick (Left leg) at Daishi (Dire Wolf) Prime (Koniving); needs 6, rolls 11 : - Direct Blow - hits (using Rear Kick table) RL
Daishi (Dire Wolf) Prime (Koniving) takes 12 damage to RL.
Armor destroyed, 20 Internal Structure remaining
Critical hit on RL. Roll is (9+3) = 12; 2 locations.
CRITICAL HIT on Hip.
CRITICAL HIT on Lower Leg.
Daishi (Dire Wolf) Prime (Koniving) must make 5 piloting skill roll(s) (was kicked; hip actuator hit; leg/foot actuator hit; was kicked; 20+ damage).
The base target is 4 [4 (Base piloting skill)].
Roll #1, (4 (Base piloting skill) + 0 (was kicked) + 2 (hip actuator hit) + 1 (leg/foot actuator hit) + 0 (was kicked) + 1 (20+ damage)); needs 8, rolls 4 : falls.
Daishi (Dire Wolf) Prime (Koniving) falls on its left side, suffering 10 damage.
Daishi (Dire Wolf) Prime (Koniving) takes 5 damage to LA.
29 Armor remaining.
Daishi (Dire Wolf) Prime (Koniving) takes 5 damage to RL (critical).
15 Internal Structure remaining
Critical hit on RL. Roll is 4; no effect.
Critical hit on RL. Roll is 11; 2 locations.
CRITICAL HIT on Upper Leg.
CRITICAL HIT on Foot.
Pilot of Daishi (Dire Wolf) Prime (Koniving) "Lissandra Caprara" must roll 8 to avoid damage; rolls 8 : succeeds.

If they could come up with a good solution to collision/knockdown that added risk to ramming opposing mechs while at the same time prevented griefing and abuse of the feature ... fine with me ... but given all of the other features that I personally consider a much higher priority ... I would say that for me collisions and knockdowns should probably be addressed sometime in 2016.

Islands can have large populations. Manhattan is an Island, yes? England?
That said, CW first.
Why?
Because I really don't care to have to listen to the frothing mouthed anti-PGI conspiracists, screaming about "PGI lying to us again" while they grab their pitchforks and torches.

That's an optional rule. In most BT games having no hands is not a penalty to standing.

I know bishop let's consider this a little humorously and friendly reminder of lack of physics
