I don't know if you are even playing what I'm playing (MWO ) because there was no LRM-aggedon in any of the drops I was doing yesterday or today.
It was just a lot of teams that seemed to be trying to be well coordinated. Yes I did see a lot of people getting NARC'd or TAG'd but I did not see anywhere near the amount of LRMs I saw during the last Lance Challenge.
And BTW if you don't like LRMs, just have your ECM guy stick with your lance!

Guys, I understand your pain -- I too wasn't thrilled about jumping into a TS server not knowing anyone. That being said I found a lot of cool people to team up with. Give it a shot

I also do agree an in-game LFG function should be inplemented and the "easiest" way would be for a "LFG" button to be added that takes you to the COMSTAR, Strana Mechty, or NGNG teamspeak lobbies.
In other words, installing TS should be part of MWO.

Hell, I went on TS, ended up joining CI - always someone to play with, or I can go pugging.
No obligations whatsoever. (Apart from joining their website and wearing their tag on TS)
And I'm sure there's other similar groups too.

Althouh I really like thse events as a idea. They do seem to push people towards using lrm/tag/narc. And penalis other methods of gaming. I would like to see one that doesnt give bonus for tag or narc. Most lrm boats get plenty of assists any.

omg....4500 gxp.... ~6-10 hours of MWO game time for barely enough for 1 anchor turn (3,500gxp) and heat dissipation (1,000xp)..... just enough for 2 basic modules on 1 variant, NOT EVEN ENOUGH FOR THE 3 BASIC VARIANTS BUT WHO CARES1111

I need to get myself a new headset as my old one bit the dust over a decade ago. As for joining teamspeak with this game, I enjoy the casual conversations that go on in the youtube videos that NGNG [EDIT]and sidestrafe and th3b33f and some others[/edit] share but then when I drop solo and see text chat with posts of "noob.. fn noob team u suk" it just lowers my desire to expose myself to that risk.

These challenges ruin the game. It is all LRMS all the time because of the scoring you use. Please stop doing challenges altogether if this is the best you can come up with. No one is having fun.

Sorry you're not having fun with this extra feature the game has but unfortunately it's not polite to try speaking for the entire population of the server.

Personally I'm missing out on the challenge 'cause I'm a bit lazy when it comes to doing things like actively sending friend invites or executing suggestions to join a room and wait for an invite but that doesn't mean I'm "not having fun" because I still am enjoying the game with or without the lance challenge. I hope you find a way to have more fun as it's a bit pointless to play a game when you're not enjoying it.

considering it took me less then a day to get the end tier and most of my games were losses due to losing streak. I do not think 4500 gxp is to little.

One from before I knew the challenges existed.
One from a challenge I did not realize I could even compete in.

Yeah, and you can pick up a reasonable headset for £10-30 these days.

Also, I've not come across any of that in comms.
Sure, PUGs in text do that ****, but most of comms is banter and battle-chat.

This challenge sucks. Why? Because now, winning is even more impossible. My team gets no tryhard premades, while the enemy team is full of them. Me and my friend are on a losing streak of 7 matches.

Please don't do these ever again. I know they will, because PGI have issues learning from their mistakes. Zing!

Also, learn from Dota 2. Post-match, you can see which people are grouped with others. Then you can have something to blame.

PGI, please stop it that premium time gets started automatically.
If it's a gift because of a server malfunction I think it's ok when it initiates automatically, especially for those who played with premium time anyway.
But when I earn premium time due to a challenge I want to choose, WHEN I start it. There're people, who have a job and family and don't have enough time to play every day.
