Not impressed it really lacks punch and the ct seems soft. The weapons mounts are so low slung that you cant hill hump at all. It is a for fun mech only.

Not everyone plays to save the universe and be the champ. Nothing wrong with a For Fun Mech what so ever.

SOOOOOOOOOOO glad someone did this. You guys are excellent! I love seeing people still having a little fun on the side with this game and not solely focused on grinding c-bills.

yea, lacks ability to manage any energy boating, ct funnels dmg easily, low slung weapons means pug matches mostly, cw sparingly. not as bad as i thought

8 C-ERMLs and 28 DHS seems to be working fine. I like it. Think I'll try 7 x CMPL on the Prime next.

I would simply state that I did not say it was bad but I did give an objective view of the mechs combat potential. I will also state I enjoy winning more than losing so my seat time in none optimized mechs is going to stay restricted to solo quee and be very limited.

Do you even Play Assault mechs or bother to look at the hard points? It will have one good load out you can make with being a 8 point laser boat. the other maybe a in your face brawler with **** for ammo. A Decent mech yeah maybe, a Dire wolf killer lol your a troll. So I will warn everyone else not to feed you.
Executioner had a chance with or without MASC but until then all hail and worship dire whale *for clan assault.

It isn't hard killing a slow mech with a fast one.

I make mince meat with direwolfs out off my locust and this was before the quirkening.
I can see the gargoyle being a direwolf killer but I do not see it being an awesome or warhawk killer.

Looks like a Zell-duel between LordLosh and Nightshade24 then ?
^^ getting me popcorn ready then and will watch from my Gargi-prime .

Btw: I like that full-on-chestbump-facegrind pic, brings back some memories !

Personal concluson for GAR´s :
Migt not be first rate choice, but can still be made to work, given there is a crazy/stupid enough pilots to sit in it ;)

It seems that GARs tend to be a target of choice due to its size. Stood next to a crabs and Warhawks and still got focussed. Even though other mechs had more damage potential. Maybe just the first couple of matches

Tryed the Gargoyle.. It's usable but.. useless, cause every configuration can be replicated in smaller but more agile mechs such as Timberwolf and Hellbringer with the advantages of more pod spaces and same speed..

You can have some fun with it but you can have better fun.. the gargoyle doesn't bring diversity on Clan side at the moment.

omfg instant deja vu .... what i wouldnt do for a refresh of mech 2!!

this mech badly needs quirks, there is zero reason not to take a t-wolf or hellbringer over this.... of course though for fun i like it solely to reminiss over the glory days of mw2

Their speed can still be useful with 3/3/3/3, where taking them instead of Dire Wolves or Warhawks makes your team much faster. Btw, thank PGI for the limited combinations of hardpoints. I mean, being able to mount any weapon is obviously too much but now the Gargoyle cannot replicate some of the weapon combinations (like ERPPCs and SRMs , unless you want to use one of those CT hardpoints..) that the others can do...

I expect it to become better once i unlock the skills.

Yes in a contest like that and in a coordinate group can be useful, by the way in pug match..

Ah, Honor. has no place in war - you kill me, or i kill you. Honor is for when we are being civilized, and trying to kill each other is not being civilized.

Probably not the most clan way of thinking, but im far from a roleplayer as i said. i just think the clan mechs look better tbh. (except the Fridgefreezer Ferret, that got hit over the head with the ugly stick, then had the ugly piano dropped on its head)

Except in WW1 during Christmas time. You should read some of the stories on the people who were for all intents and purposes trying to kill each other. Or read up on "Live and Let Live" that happened then too.
Honor exists.

Anywho, back to the topic at hand.
