I love my AS7-K and usually i get yelled at by me team for rushing in. Its set up to brawl but if I am doing that i'm past the point of caring what my team thinks, I just wanna rush in and do as much damage as I can before I die.

I hate teams that want to get stuck in a long range stand off. Like you I want to get stuck in and spread some lead and wub.

CTF-3D / Illya - Trusty Cataphracts have served me very well over their lifetime. Builds have varied much over time with changing nerfs/buffs, but the Cataphracts has never failed me.

BNC-3E - High mounted torso ballistics makes for easy dakka mode. Toss in 2 high mounted Llas or Lpulses and very rarely do I get below 500 dmg.

JR7-F - The 6 mlas build will always have a place on the battlefield.

I hear you on that. The return of the lost AH could change that somewhat though. That really was a **** move by PGI to remove the AH and bring in the YLW though.

Before being nerfed to the griund my Quad ac2 Jager-S ( still kicks but right now feel lackluster)

Spider 5v with 12 JJ nothing trolls harder than the only mech capable to sky rocket in a pinch when no one expects it.

I don't know why, but my mediocre butt can pull 600+ damage games in the Cicada and I've never even sniffed that in another mech, ECM or not.

A little bit of range with the LL, shreds lights at close range with the 3x MG and 3x SSRM2, good speed and mobility, jump jets, BAP, AMS, almost total heat efficiency, great chassis design with amazing survivability.

When it's all going wrong I take my baby out for a spin. What's yours?

TDR 5S. 2 MG, 2 SRM6, 3 ML, 2 LL, AMS. Painted white and pale blue. It's fun bar room brawling my way to Glory. (win or loss it will be GLORIOUS)

Or maybe my Fang.... 2 LL 1 AC10, 1 SRM6, 1 ML...

This game isn't one I'd consider worthy of playing full on meta with, so I'll run what I like, and kill whatever I run across. All the more fun when it happens to be a meta mech that gets blown to hell. One more for battlefield salvage.

I consider it a bad night if it doesn't average a 2 to 1 KDR and 300 damage average per match.

Sure I have better mechs in my arsenal. But those are the two I enjoy the most.

Adorable it may be but I think you'll find when it comes to that crutch "fun" mech that people love to pilot regardless, they're not meta in any way and succeed for the players who pilot them.

Unfortunately there are those (like that I quoted) whose crutch mechs are purely meta because their definition of fun is winning at any cost by playing meta and meta only.

So I suggest you stick your "ADORABLE" where the sun has doubtful ever shined, take your MLG and min/max/meta out of here and leave this thread to those who want to play the game for fun away from people like you.

Timber Wolf with 3 ER large lasers and a Gauss rifle, or Stormcrow with 2 ER large lasers.

Probably will be using a similar setup with the Hellbringer -- but with ECM!
