This is a mech I cooked up to be similar to a Timberwolf build I rip faces off with. It's a great mid- to late-game brawler as long as you sneak around and torso twist when in a fight. A little difficult without speed tweak, but manageable. I don't find much reason to take the Vulture over the Timberwolf, due to our matchmaking rules, but it's a pretty fun ride.

Though a cool build it lacks long distance punch.

I actually like riding the Mad Dog A around stock B)

Yeah it's totally a strike mech for up close mayhem. It's really really fun, though. I'm def going to try some of your builds, Hero.

6x SRM4 triggers Ghost Heat unless you cycle them.

Try this: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...ba2ee3c7e7012aa

same number of SRMs, no Ghost Heat. (also added that extra ton to armor)

I built this while at work and forgot to allocate the leftover 1t of armor.

I usually do 3 at a time or chain fire. Splat if I plan to turn and run away bc the enemy is facing me.

Thanks for the suggestion on changing which launchers I use. I was originally worried about the legendary spread of SRM6s, but I will give it a shot.

I call it Rib Knife, because it makes for an excellent knife between the ribs, i.e., a backstabber. It can run seriously hot if you don't watch yourself. I keep the lasers in paired weapon groups, right and left. The missiles I have a group of 3 and a group of 6, if I need to stagger them I can by firing the 3xSRM6 group and then firing the 6x group for the other 3.

There are better shotgun builds that are more efficient. For up front punch, that might be OK but for longevity and skirmishing you are going to overheat on hot maps especially.

I run 4 SRM6 + LBX20, you can run quad SRM4 as well if you find the ghost heat on the 6's excessive.
