This is still the most beautiful thing I have ever seen
Can you tell me how he survives the heat dmg at second 50+? Almost 500 internal damage done with the 9 ERPPC alpha. Well, not the first time I see players who take little to no heat dmg.

I can't even explain how bad it was. Not enough ammo (and in bad locations), sub standard engine, should have put ferro as well as endo. No crit-padding, bad armor distribution... the list goes on.
I finally stopped by the ultimate hunchback thread and it changed my life.

Editing.
Watch the time stamp again. This is the same match, the same mech, he only cuts off the overheat shutdown period. His internal armor is orange, then he shoots all 9 PPC at once and it turns to red, then he attacks and kills another mech after powering up.
A 12 ML alpha produces not even half as much heat but is still able to kill any mech during overheat. You still think there is nothing wrong?

I already filed a support ticket when I was running this build way back when. It seems that the internal heat damage isn't calculated the way it should. Also, your power down for 2 minutes, then power back up after the alpha, and your heat will still be at over 100%, while you're walking around for another 30 seconds or so, it then takes another 30 seconds to a minute to fully cooldown. If you can wait the 4 minutes or so it takes. You can fire a second alpha, and might even survive it.

This was a issue in the death star Battlemaster too

I'm going to check this out. I died once from firing all 4 of my PPCs on the testing grounds in a Warhawk before.

Yeah, I think it has something to do with generating heat in excess of 400. It breaks the ghost heat system, I think.

After all, what good is a dragon that can't spit fire?

yes, I'm that guy
I sort of hesitate to post, as some of you might be on my team some day.
its a blast. Chain fire will melt any mechs legs or arms before I get the heat warning.
You really REALLY must have your eyes on a swivel, the minimap is your friend, and you do NOT just stand on some ridge thinking you're all that.

As soon as I saw that I said "wow what a horrible DW build" and the guy says "like you're one to talk ****--you're dead" and I asked him how the hell he thinks that isn't too hot and why run a build you can never even come close to an alpha on and his response that time was "I don't alpha and nothing is too hot for me" and then I watched as he got quickly butt ***** as his rate of fire was beyond pathetic which isn't good when you're outnumbered like that.
