You could buy small increments of premium time.
Sure, all customers and me as well would be happy if it would only affect actively played time but it is a business and not everything a customer wants makes sense from this point of view.

Of course per match/minute premium would have to be more expensive per minute played than the current premium time, it could be a wholly separate additional product. I can't prove that PGI would profit from it, but I do that I am currently not buying premium time at all even though I'd like to if there was a version of it designed for casual once in a while players like me.

The one day costs around $1. I don't know how much more casual can you get.

This limit is far to low !
I would set this limit to 1000 days or 2000 days because everybody has a lot of premium time banked on his account !
I think you're mixing up days and hours.
720 hours is 30 days.
720 days is almost two years (and about 16 months more than what I have banked: 5,256 hours, or 219 days).
As for activation in monthly chunks: Great, and thank you, but I doubt it will make me start activating my PT. I'd like to see smaller chunks - 24 hours, 72 hours (for that all-out-gaming weekend), 7 days.

Any reasonably large package comes with one that can be popped off should you take a break in that month. If you want more pauses, get a few more to fit your lifestyle. PGI gets more potential profit, and Players can get what they want. Sound good?

Please note, this is both literal and metaphorical!
We cannot pause or stop it once activated without breaking the space-time continuum.
Thanks for your understanding.
Wibbly wobbly timey whimey...
Reverse the polarity of the neutron flow and you're all good.
What about those who get sub 30 day rewards? Are they just stuck with it just starting, or can they bank it up over time to then release it later (say kids going for summer vacation or those of us who have long breaks from work schedules)
Now I must be off. The angels have my phonebox.
