They sound insane, but my question is, Why the heck large lasers? You can't fit that and Mac. Guns on the 1v? Any other players got any idea behind this?

1V has just one energy hardpoint. What ELSE are you going to stick in there with enough room for max engine? ER PPC? Oh, wait, I don't think you have that much tonnage...

That's a bit more important. Still only 16 HP, but that's a start. Same leg IS as a 35 tonner!

That's more than enough. You don't plan to stick around to use them.

20 rounds per second, 1000 rounds, that's nearly a full minute of constant fire. I don't imagine you do that when you mount an ERLL.

Why did you put the MG ammo in a side torso? The head virtually never gets shot on the Lolcust, so that makes the head the safest location for ammo. Also, the XL175 is strictly worse than the XL180 which weighs the same but gives slightly more speed. Your build also has enough critical slots to add Ferro Fibrous. And why no max leg armor?

Armor was arms, Ballistic was range+

I expected Medium laser buffs. Most people mount MPL, SPL or ML on the things. Close range skirmish with Recon. Sorta mop up.

They're sorta pushing them into long range recon sniper, where there's this Sliiiight issue where if you fire a LL in a Locust,before the beam stops you tend to have two gauss shells through your sunroof. I:

I imagine that at least one variant might get a Medium Laser buff, given that PGI/Russ wants to have different variants better for different loadouts.

Its a little troubling as an example considering ML is the stock setup and this instead reads like a Comp player trying to make it useful and saying "only LL is decent on this".

But its far too early to draw a lot of conclusions from one "subject to change" set of quirks for a tier5 20-tonner
