'Keep me logged in' checkmark

The "keep me logged in" checkmark when logging in doens't seem to be working.
Sure I can check it. But it seems random when it asks me to sign in again. It could be an hour later when I come back to the sight, or could be 6 hours later.

I'm using google chrome. Anyone have a fix for this?

Yeah, this has never worked for me (it has been months) in Chrome. It appears that you get logged out after about an hour of no activity, whether that is checked or not.

Same issue with Internet Explorer.

Yeah, see...Ajax...not that great for web-browser standards.

Same issue, Firefox.

It's really annoying, especially because I'm checking this forum at least daily. Hope they can fix it soon.

Same here, have to keep relogging in even when moving to different threads. Running Windows 7 PRO 64-Bit/ Google Internet /Explorer 8.

What is this 'google internet' thou speakst of?
And how does it differ from 'regular' internet?

Devs already said they will not extend the cookie expire time for security reasons so we will have to live with it this way.
