It's not a gonzo build, honest!
OK; OK: I like the cooler and compound; I payed an extra $5 for 100MHz on the card; The RAM is dinky, but the HDD ain't. But there's no extra fans, and I didn't go looking for "extra" power in the PSU: You have only ~4.3A to spare.
Do remember any AMD build requires overclocking and a good-sized set of tweaks to settings and the user.cfg. You've Been Warned.

No seriously, I see people come on here a fair bit asking for help with builds/parts that just flat out don't have the budget for new stuff. Here's what you can do if you're willing to dive into the used market and bargain hunt (some parts aren't used because of compatibility issues with older revisions, lack of price advantage, or parts that just should generally be bought new).
Pentium G 3258: http://www.amazon.co...&condition=used
$49.99
Asrock B85 Pro 4: http://www.amazon.co.../?tag=pcpapi-20
$74.99
G.Skill Ripjaw DDR3-1600 CL9: http://www.newegg.co...ID=3938566&SID=
$44.99
Radeon HD 6950 2GB: http://www.ebay.com/...=item4188b45dae
$79.99 (~equal to a 7870 or 270X)
Rosewill Green Series RG530: http://www.amazon.co...+rg630-s12+630w
$49.99
Possibly-reliable WD Blue 250GB HDD: http://www.amazon.co...n+Digital+Green
$22.00
Antec case of extremely dubious quality: http://www.newegg.co...ID=3938566&SID=
$22.99 (if you're REALLY poor and desperate or a DIYer, you can basically skip a case and run it in any enclosure... or no enclosure; I've seen people use cardboard boxes before and get away with it)
The where the hell did this come from DVD drive: http://www.ebay.com/...=item417d881f63
$8.99
Pair of SATA cables: http://www.amazon.co...rds=sata+cables
$5.99
Windows8.1: http://www.amazon.co...rds=Windows+8.1
$92.00 (Use Windows 10 Tech Preview to hold off on this until next April, or get Ubuntu and pray the Wine gods that your games work if you're an enthusiast)
Total: $451.92, no MiR BS, free shipping all around (I think?), only occasionally-paid sales taxes
Cardboard box + Windows 10 price: $336.93
You could also step that GPU way down to something like this $45 1GB 5830: http://www.ebay.com/...=item27ecf23722
which would bring the price to 416.93/301.94

I'd walked past the cooler, staring at the Noctuas on sale. :-] Somehow, all the other price brakes seem meh …
6.8A to spare, for more fans, but I think you can get by, what with the factor rear exaust fan moving to the ceiling.
