I donno, I'm fine with whatever map/mode/whatever. They are all the same in the end, team A) rolls into team there is shooting, match is over.
I'd rather CW get finished, and have a fourth game-mode. Once that's done, they'll have the resources to devote to other areas. No amount of hate or screaming will change that. Be happy they even put a poll up.

The forums are only a small part of the community and many non-forum goers never see these polls. Hell, I am active in the forums and I didn't find the old poll in time. This time the poll is mentioned in the launcher and look how that has already changed the results. And there is no doubt still a large group that still wont see this and vote.
If PGI had anyone with just a basic knowledge of user testing, they would know this and how to get around it. But apparently they don't even know how to word poll questions right.

I believe we should have a choice especially if the game mode systems where improved.
ELO has not improved game play, my games still end with complete landslide 80% of the time.
Game mode doesn't matter in current MWO. Why is this.
I drop in all game mode and 80% of the time an ecm deathball runs straight into the other team. This occurs in both the pug and team games and even more so since the change.
On conquest I have seen multiple games where the other team doesn't even look at taking a point and since the last change in conquest I have never seen a team win by capping.
On assault I see a little difference but that's mostly due to turtling. This manly ends with the chat being aggressive due to comments about you being chicken when your only other option is to only move in this direction/area as I will be shot by your turrets if I move in 50% of the map's area.
At this moment I say it doesn't matter because all game mode are being played as a skirmish anyhow.

Results for my PUG games so far, 12-3 loss, 12-2 loss, 12-4 win, 12-2 win, 12-5 loss, 12-6 win, 12-4 loss, 12-8 win, 12-5win, 12-1 loss, 12-0 win, 12-2 loss.
Majority of the games I've played so far have been not only very one sided, but skirmish, which I have zero interest in playing unless it's a competitive match.
Can't understand why this has been introduced to the solo queue, allowing groups to decide amongst themselves and vote on the mode the majority of them want to play makes sense, but in games with 24 pugs, there's always going to be a good number of them who are unhappy with the map and/or game mode, resulting in more disconnects/ragequits and kamikaze behaviour.

Stop trying to fix the game by altering your players behavior through negative means. Actually fix the core mechanics and stop adding layers based on a broken core.
This idea should have never survived long enough to make it to the poll, far better options are out there, stop ignoring them.
And add polls in game if you want feedback... No one looks here for the stuff since its hard to find and... PGI has the rep of telling the players there wrong and ignoring them no matter what we say, so whats the point. Im not lookin to troll but you have to be aware of this by now.

just wait until this time tomorrow. some people will be howling at how the poll shouldn't be listened to and how PGI should just change it back anyway. after a week or so the devs will close the poll, then people will whine about how it needs another week, or 2, or 3. One guy said earlier he'll only agree to leave it as is, if that option wins in a land slide.

yes it is.
they also made a news article for the patchnotes. the first time i have ever seen that. big props for that PGI. maybe people finally stop asking what was in the patch mid-match and just read it up.
