Request for a second Cent geometry pass after the first pass of the remaining 'Mechs is finished to get dynamic missile bay doors for changing launchers.

But... They're very specific about what qualifies. And this thread is FULL of people asking exactly the same questions, and getting exactly the same answers. As are many other, similar threads. It's almost as if these people didn't read the OP, or the announcement, or any of the threads they're posting in at all. But that, of course, never happens.

Edit: To be fair, this particular OP doesn't have a lot of detail about the reward mechs; but the original announcement did and that thread was *FULL* of people totally baffled by it.

Frankly I am kinda grateful when they at least went looking for the answer first - but didn't see it (as embarrassing as that would/could be for them to admit)

So two columns of 4, + 2...with space for 1 more above it...

8 + 3 (with enough room for 3 more columns) = 20.

You have to admit it's an odd shape.
So the one below it is going to need a different shape. This is a problem in the long run.

Yeah.. Losing the doors is really depressing.
I was super disappointed when I found out about the Vindicators not having doors like in the art.

Let's be honest here. Anybody that tries to make his CN9 useful in the current meta uses SRMs. And SRMs don't like missile doors. You either open them right away or cuss when you miss your fist salvo and open them afterwards.

It looks like the gun arm is getting smaller, which is also a good thing. Cent is probably going to get AC quirks (bonuses) and a smaller arm hitbox is much needed.

Fair enough, but I love missiles doors even as an SRM user. My Kintaro uses an LRM-20, 2 streaks (in the arm), and 1 SRM-6 (in the CT with the missile doors providing extra protection). And what I love about it is that I can use it to protect myself. It gives me an extra 10% armor while the doors are closed and when things get rough I can keep it closed to keep my CT alive or I can jab ti open at just the right time and fire missiles before closing it again.

Even with no hud I have no problem operating a Centurion's missiles.

What I find crucial about the missile doors is the conditional additional protection. Something I think was absolutely critical for the Vindicator and it doesn't have. Now the Centurion won't have it.

Yeh. thanks for the Information, I knowed that already, i only wanted to express my Opinion about the Collor-choices. Wasnt meant as an offense, Ii only belive. it can be usefull for your Comapny, to know, what your Players like or dont like..

The artwork for these guys look really cool! Glad ye can change the colors though. ������ anyways can't wait to get my hands on these mechs! And really glad you guys at PGI are expanding on the payment options, (even though it really does not affect me,) it's nice to see you guys do stuff for the community. I have one question though, what is this IS pack that everyone's talking about?

Unless 10 is the limit per hardpoint. We'll find out next week.

Though I would have prefered they went 3-4-3 with the launchers then, might look better.

I know this would cost PGI money but you guys really should put out a MC Card to places like Gamestop. That would definitely get some profit. Something kinda like the cards other MMO games give out maybe even Premium time cards if it becomes profitable enough

Gotta agree with Koniving here. Missile bay doors are just as, if not even more, useful for a brawler. That armor bonus comes in handy.

Even if that weren't the case, though. Rule of cool. Missile bay doors are a cool detail that add atmosphere to the game even if they downgrade your performance(which they do not necessarily). Same with the CN-9A's gun arm. That thing looks great. Changing it would be a shame. The only art pass the Cent ever really needed was for the whole mech to be squeezed in a bit so it's more narrow, in line with its concept art. But this is true of quite a few in-game mech models :/

Don't think I will like this camo much, angel is not removable? :( can't colour it alone either to make it somewhat vanish I bet. What is that yellow thing on centurion's left arm & right leg? rope? <_<
