I think they're holding off on quirks until the Nov 4 patch. Wouldn't be right to make these new variant flat out better than the old ones for 2 weeks.

Mostly good, but LRM5 heat scale was uncalled for...

I am liking this patch already. Great work with the rewards changes.

Looking forward to patches coming up and CW getting expanded.

Again i think you reduce cbills income ...

Assist and savior kill was the most important income of cbills. 6500 and it pass to 2500 ...

PGI really turning a new leaf after the chains of IGP have been thrown off! And thats from a player that pretty much have been enjoying the game since june last year. :)

Looks like a decent bag of gifts.
After a long time the light mechs now have a variety of things they can do, although it's still pretty combat-heavy. But there are things now you can do, that get rewarded better AND are fun to do.
Hit and run, stealth, flanking, tagging for a purpose...very good.

In my opinion the reward for Kill could be entirely omitted. This is pure luck at best, or you could say, it's pretty unfair, as you can easily wait until your comrades shoot a target to bits and the snatch the Kill reward from them if you are smart. I wouldnt miss the Kill reward as there are better ones that require you to do something valuable (like protecting a comrade under fire).

I really wish the fixed memory bug fixes my constant disconnecting due to memory allocation errors, but I doubt it. We will see. For a long while I feel, this patch adds to the game experience.

Eeek JJ changes aren't exactly what I was hoping for... Class III aren't included in this? Those are what the Summoner uses... Hopefully more changes to JJ in another later patch?

Everything else looks awesome! Glad to see PGI on a much more positive track since IGP.

Not sure if I'm reading this correctly. Are a la carte players in line for the new Atlas or no? I'll be honest and say that I'm headed for disappointment if a $135.00 purchase of three a la carte Clan Mechs is not worthy of the same $20.00 to $30.00 investment for a tiny single Mech starter pack.

Annnnd... all it right in the world. Got the Atlas, as I am sure all the a la carte players did. /whew!

Direct result of having the Mad Dog with 6xLRM 5's able to fire all day long and not worry about heat tbh.

Very exciting additions and nice going on the bug fixes. The PostAA and TT bridge fixes will be appreciated.

Can't wait to see how these rewards will play out.

Apprehensive about UI going to Home instead of Mechbay, but we'll see how that turns out, might not be so bad.

Capping could do with a C-Bill reward imo.

Even if it's only a few C-Bills a point earned.

I had no idea how intricate and comprehensive that rewards system was gonna be. Could change the game. Terrific patch PGI, best in months.

Also...that Atlas is gonna be siiiiiick...
