I guess this fixes the dumb situation where firing more LRMs in one configuration generates less heat than fewer LRMs in another, but more ghost heat is always a bad thing forever.

If I run out of ammo I can just follow around an assault mech to get my "Medium Protection Bonus"

The new rewards look amazing and seem like they'll promote teamwork. And LRMs. But mostly teamwork.

You *can* do it (AC/20 + SRM18) using an XL 200. If you want 3 tons of ammo for each system you'll have 0.5 tons left for extra armor (this build is using the stock armor + Endo Steel).

Heavies get none of the love, but every other class does?

Too many of you around anyway, you don't need any further encouragement.
I'm happy to finally see some role rewards in the reward structure; will be interesting to see how those affect the queues (and more importantly, light/medium play).

probably ac20, x3 aSRM4 for better groupings, ammo consumption and RoF. Never found 3xSRM6 very effective at dealing "useful" damage. But will undoubtedly try it both ways! Might even toss on the old 3x SSRM2 Light fighter version.

It was more a mention because 'Mechs like the Summoner are staying the same, but the JJ assaults are getting a buff. Seems bad.
