I've been getting similar or greater (including a new record) in short range StormCrows.
No Cbill bonus there.

Maybe because before, lights and mediums were under-rewarded for their contributions, and because of this, more and more people started driving heavies and assaults. In turn, the tonnage and firepower imbalance drove up the arms race.
Over time, no one brings mediums or lights, unless they're masochistic or in a group of seven or more, because (in general) for bigger 'mechs the rewards were better.
PGI's original vision for role warfare was that the impact, effectiveness and rewards for each weight class would be basically equivalent, so that we don't get that "heavier is better" imbalance.
Now, with changes to the cap timer and a different reward system, it seems like they're trying to reward something other than the 12-mech deathball (which will always be a good strategy on skirmish ... maybe not as much on conquest and assault).
It will be interesting to see if four fast 'mechs flanking can win in the Planetary Assault game mode, while the other eight 'mechs stall a 12-mech deathball long enough to prevent them from acheiving their objectives in time.

I think this is great. Its definitely a hit to people not playing "the right way" but a clear advantage to those who play the way the rewards intend to reward.
So this is a huge thing.
To all the people getting low returns, fix what youre doing because its broke. Theres alot more cbills up for grabs now.
This. It's easy to get decent rewards even in a loss; you just need to adjust how you play. The thing is, playing to earn more now leads to generally better play. It's hard to exploit the new reward system in a negative manner.

well with admitadlly just a quick look at the posted rewards details , I think for assults :-
They are the following damage based rewards that seem to be written for assults :-
Kill Most Damage:
Killing Blow:
Solo Kill:
Brawler:
Then they is the following that should be usable for assults :-
Lance Formation:
TAG Damage:(no reason an assult can not carry a tag)
TAG Kill:(no reason an assult can not carry a tag)
many of the others are hard due to an assults speed but some may be doable for a good player Flanking for instance.
I am suprised that they do not have one rewarding assults and heavys for protecting lighter mechs. They have ones for us Med staying near the assults , it is strange that the assult do not get a equal one for staying near the Med's
Assault mechs are not eligible for brawler bonuses. "
- Get a "Solo Kill" in between 0 and 450 meters distance to the target.
- Be in a medium or heavy 'Mech."

first is a defeat in a spider with ecm, the second a hero mech
This is a low paying win
The only thing I can conclude from all my other 200k wins and losses is that its not the damage or the kills, its the way you play. But again, do your own interpretation.

If you are in a light or medium you should be playing conquest. Skirmish and assault is all about assaults camping with the largest guns. You would get MUCH more rewards from capping, not to mention you get to live longer as there is less blobbing on conquest. Also a single TAG dramatically increases the rewards you get.
Getting 90k on a loss in a light or medium is ridiculously easy even with mediocre damage done on conquest.

Nothing spectacular in 16 games, but money generation sure doesn't appear to be 'broken' from my sampling.

Ok I am curious, how did you achieve that? Which mech, loadout, playstyle/behaviour?
The highest loss I was able to get was 53k and the highest win like 155k.

Highest Loss I've had so far was 74k. 30k of that was from a single "Brawling, Most Damage, Killing Blow, Solo Kill"

THIS, I stayed with my PUG lance(or at least close to a team mate) and stalked and maneuvered and alphed. I am a knock out punching player, and I don't apologize for it. 2 Kills 4 assists, and a slew of other bonuses for being a good team player.
I'm not using Premium time, but I will take advantage of my Hero's bonus.
Sorry Trout... I didn't mean to sound insulting... It's early and I'm still cranky from lack of Caffeine.
