Same issues here. All I've done to fix it is turn off postaa. The flickering crap in the mechlab is still there, but the dimming is gone. Also, very erratic performance. Once would expect boosted but still consistent performance, but that isn't happening. FPS goes everywhere from 150 to 45 for me. Considering 1 card would normally give me 50-80, I would expect not to dip below 50 for sure, but also to at least stay above 60.

Yeah I have postaa off now, I still have shadows at medium since it looks really bland without some shadows (yay for flickering in the mechlab!), if you want to get rid of the flickering in the mechlab turn shadows to low. Nice to know its not just me having these issues, so it is either Nvidia or PGI that needs to look into this and fix it.

Driver tested, SLI does indeed work as intended, it is spreading the load perfectly across my cards now.
The issue however Is a constant flickering light on my Mechs in my bay. Will have to test some stuff to see why that happens now...

I've been getting 30-35 fps with the old (344.11) drivers. I'll update and report back with new numbers.

My rig (it's old, I know, but it still works great!) as reported by GeForce Experience:

CPU: Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Resolution: 1920 x 1280, 59 Hz (really? 59? not 60???)
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

No apparent difference for me. Still getting ~60 fps until any Mechs show on screen, at which point it immediately drops to ~40 and then 30-35 once there are several on screen.

I'm used to "low" fps like that, though, so I find it perfectly acceptable.

Reminds me of Star Citizen before this last patch, flickering and artifacts. DX9 solves the issue, but that's not really the point is it when it comes to a driver with DX11 support ;)

I have actually seen my performance cut in half with SLI turned on (from 40-100fps to 35fps). Also with DX11 turned on there is massive flickering.

I would love it if people were to report what their performance is like with the new drivers, especially if they ever experienced screen freezes under the last NVIDIA driver set.

Swamp map is coming!

Still got the freeze on the new map, otherwise it's been pretty smooth - less lag in smoke effects.

I can't use the new drivers or DX11 at all - the game is extremely dark. I can barely see in the mechlab.

I'm having the same issue as what has already been said.. Artifacting, blinking mechlab, ghosting. The funny one is when you just see just a mech arm moving accross the map and shooting. Just for S&G I pushed the game through my Tesla bank and still experienced the same issues.

Don't know if this is the case or not, but usually a game has to have a video setting as well to enable SLI.. not just the GPU driver. Perhapse a hot fix is on the way in the next few days????

Edit.. Before with a single 780ti (2560-1600 on a single monitor) I was averaging 75-100 FPS with dips down in the 50s. When I tested SLI today I didn't see much above 55FPS with serious lags down into the single digits.

My rig.....

OK, I have rig envy...

For me the SLI does work. had to drop shadows to low and turn off postaa. had the flicker and dim mech lab and major ghosting in game. FPS is about the same for me, between 65-80 in game

Rig

3770k@ 4.5

2 GTX 680s, 4 gig each

32 1866 ram

Z77 sabertooth board.

game on intel 520 series SSD

OS is Win 7 64

monitor
Asus 27 (at 1920X1080) 144hz

Game settings set max except the two above adjustments to get rid of mech lab issue and ghosting

Ok, did some quick testing yesterday, I use the following hardware / settings:

2x GTX680 2GB (stock speeds)
i7-3770k (stock speed)
Resolution: 2560x1440

MWO settings: max - except: particles lowest, shadows medium, postAA off, motion blur off, cockpit glass off.

Before installing the current driver I only used the DX9-render path as DX11 led to lots of artifacts, e.g. Mechs not rendering properly (invisble to a large extent), map textures (buildings) missing etc. making it impossible to play MWO.

With DX9 and the previous WHQL-driver I had something between 40-70ish FPS, depending on map and action.

Now with DX11 and the current driver I have something between 60-100 FPS, again depending on map and action.

I haven't had a chance yet to play with different settings and only tried 3 rounds on 2 different maps, canyon and HPG).

So far, quite happy, MWO finally performing nicely again after the monitor-upgrade from 1920x1200 to 2540x1440...

Here you go..... A bit of computer porn....

This is a shot of my setup (about 16 months ago). I moved late last year and I'm still finishing out my current basement office, I'll get a few new shots as it gets closer to completion. The rig has changed quite a bit since this shot.

i get flickering in the water and in the mechbay. I am pretty sure I am getting worse performance now than before. I am using DX11. like micro stutter all the time.

AA is off.

dual 480gtx, i7, 12gb ram. 1680x1050

ran repair tool also.

also...

if I turn on any AA, i get the mechlab showing in game.

EDIT:
so I drop everything from very high to high, get more flicker in mechlab but double my FPS.

no missing stuff so far either in the maps.

Can't wait for the AA fix because playing without AA just looks so yuck.

Just got a day ago a gigabyte g1 gaming gtx970 finally and seen the updated driver with SLI support/ MWO profile. Downloaded and installed it.

Now I need to order another 970 if I can find any in stock.

Well I just updated and activated the MWO profile, looks like fps went way up, peaking at 150 and staying in the 50-70 range for most of a match, a few dips below 50 but that happened with the old drivers too. Didn't notice any glitches, the mechlab looks much crisper now, but it looks like the MWO profile disabled whatever form of anti-aliasing the game was using before, so that might be the reason.
I updated from driver version 314.22, and I'm running a Gigabyte 670 GTX OC 4GB.

question, how did you 'activate' the profile?

Without me sounding stupid, WHY do you need a server farm? And I'm not being a ****, I just wanna know what you use it for and why you have it.

Oh and on topic, I updated the drivers through my Nvidia software automatically. Don't notice any difference. I still have black spots in maps like Crimson Strait, in particular the steps coming up from the water towards the Sigma capture point city area. I also get huge streaks of black when people are firing out of the cave in Forest Colony. Otherwise, I have 0 issues whatsoever and I play at max settings. My FPS are fine for me. I think it's around 50-60fps at all times.
