Locusts are so much fun. I've yet to have a "monster" game yet tho, just a lot of pretty good ones.

I wonder how long the WubShee can keep the top?

I didn't get a single match with more than 5 kills, so there's a long way to go.

6 kills is my highest this tournament. Haven't broke 700 damage yet, but well, I am driving a Vindicator. But figure I will see how close I can get the "worst mech in the game" to pace the leaders.

I'm currently at 16 and climbing, gauss+PPC> i considered rolling a WubShee but, well, not going to molest your sweetie.

I'm rather happy when I see a WubShee in the wild.

Of course, I don't expect you to keep it exactly like this. ERLLs work well, or perhaps 2 LPLs, 6 MLs with a STD.

I don't expect to stay in the top 20 with this score.

Now that is an awesome VND score! Congrats. What load out do your run? I have broken 700 a few times in my SIB, (not on this tournament) but, don't think it's done 800 yet. And still trying to get to Ace of Spades in it.

And gonna be watching over my shoulder for ya....... ;)

Just such a fun little mech!

The sad thing is, the tourney isn't recording losses, so the win "bonus" is superfluous.

I hear you. About to give up on this with my Kit Fox.

3-7 after 10 matches. Best individual matches (e.g. 636 damage, 2 kills 5 assists) result in a loss due to derp teammates.

Average damage in losses: 412
Average damage in wins: 253

Matchmaker not being favorable either. Most losses we get AWS, VTR, HGN while enemy gets DWF, AS.

I'm getting some of the worst drops of my life. Whole lances that can't even pool 200 damage. Ugh. This tourney basically requires you play for tens of hours until you get enough lucky drops.

This doesn't require skill... just luck.

I hear you. I just posted a 5 kill, 750 damage game with my kit fox and got a tie because my last few teammates ran away and let the score tie.

Don't know why they are only counting wins when they have wins factored into the score table. Perhaps to deter triple-gauss DWF cheese builds or something.

It's not supposed to be easy.

To even reasonably qualify, you'd have to be a good "farmer" (attempting to get 12 assists however you can). The more tricky part is being able to push in the alpha you need to kill things.

Then again, you have to maximize your knowledge of the game a bit... pretty much you need every edge to get somewhere on the leaderboards.

yeah, locusts can be a lot of fun. That's when your'e not dying to silly light damage. Earlier I got the jump on a Commando after which he hit me with his wee lil SRM's. I laser pew pew'd him again and he fired a second salvo, killing me. Going from fresh CT to dead in two salvos from a Commando is... disheartening. :P

A few games before that, early in a match, I was one shot by a friendly (heh) Firestarter who shot me in the back. Had full back armor, just not much there. Then there's the limbs torn off by a glancing look. :P Do love my lil mech. Thinking of trying the 1E next.

that's the thrill! if another mech sneezes on you, you die! dying in the Locust is fun, because it could happen at any time! (apologies to teammates)

I just bought a 1E. 6 ML. Second game in, pulled 630 damage with 10 assists. overheat like a boss

I hate you for not running ECM! :P Lost a lot of terrible matches today due to lack of ecm and lrm spam.

I lost some, I won some, I cleaned house in others. But "Boom Baby" has to have some kind of weakness!

Yeah, but always hate how the "Elo" part of the match maker works. Kinda sucks to get like 12 out of 15 wins, then suddenly have to slog through 12 out of 15 losses..... Only so hard you can carry.

Honestly, I kinda wonder if it wouldn't be better to switch Elo off for the Tourneys and have it blind draw.

But either way, everyone is getting the same MM. And one might go through an even more unbalanced run.

So, it is what it is.

and the 2 er large laser ravens and such that run off and leave their team without ecm. Appears that is not incentive enough, though

HA! I looked over all the mech scores to see if there was a "soft" category I might have a chance in......

Nope!!! to dang many good pilots!!!

At least in TT I could "trip" and wipe out the board....... sigh

Impressive people, keep it up! can't wait to see the scores at the end.
