Pgi Can You Please Give Us Something To Use Standard Mech Xp For?

I literally have at least 500k XP banked on my mechs and zero places to use it. I know you can convert it to GXP but why would you? You can master a mech in 20-30 matches and I have already pretty much unlocked every module I couldn't want (especially since I can't afford to buy them anyway) so even then I have zero reason to convert it to GXP.

So how about something else we can do with the XP, perferrably something that doesn't cost me even more real life money than I already spend on this game (~$550 an counting).

Hell I know, let us convert 1 XP to 10 C-bills. That's not huge but it least it is something.

Yeah, conversion to cbills would be nice. I suppose then atleast you can use it to fund your modules after wasting your life away to grind for the 15K GXP to unlock them.

I use mine to purchase pilot skills, when full complete, I buy another mech, and continue the process.
On the rare occassion when I really like a sinlge chassis and it is "permanent rotation" I convert those xp to GXP.

Works well for me.

I like the idea of XP to C-Bills. But, if PGI would do this, i think the conversion will more like 1XP to 1 C-Bills or even 5XP to 1 C-Bills.

I have just never seen the need.

Without once converting any GXP I have unlocked:

CL SRM6 Range
CL UAC/20 Range
CL LB-10X Range
CL UAC/5 Cooldown
CL UAC/10 Cooldown
CL ER PPC Cooldown
CL SRM6 Cooldown
CL LB-20X Cooldown
CL LRM10 Cooldown

And I can't afford any of them (Well own one each of Radar Deprivation, Advanced Zoom, Advanced Seismic and CL ER ML Range).

Sure I have about maybe a dozen more I need to unlock so I have to ability to insure I have access to all the modules I need for any build I commonly use but since I can't afford to purchase them with C-bills anyway, I just don't see the point of converting GXP. Also as far as using it for pilot XP, again I ask why? 20 matches and I have usually at least got my 2x basics unlocked. I mean I would much rather spend my money on Hero mechs, mech bays, paint jobs, etc.

Well it would be better than nothing but I would like it to be at least worth something. I just figured it up and I literally have 975k XP just sitting on mastered out mechs which took me about 2 years to accumulate. At 10 C-bills per XP, that is only an extra 9.75 million C-bills which isn't even enough to by a medium Clan mech so I don't think 10 C-bills per XP is all that much to ask. I mean on average that would be a 10k per match bonus for using a mastered mech which honestly seems fair.

Another option might be to make the be able to be converted (again for free) to some sort of Loyalty Points to be used in CW. Another thing would be using it for consumable buffs. Maybe the could make it so you can by a 7 day, 2% buff to C-bills for 10k XP or something. Things like that.

Revised opinion on subject. Mass accumulation of XP, is an issue that should be addressed, a way to spend them beyond "GXP conversion" should be implemented to encourage continued play.

Maybe even titles, decals, geometry, paint, or special camo that can only be unlocked with mech xp. Something that makes it special when you have put so much time into one variant.

I have 1.5 million XP on one of my chassis. It needs something to do, other than being a large pile of worthlessness, waiting for the insanely rare weekend there happens to be a double XP conversion.

Id love to see an XP-Unlock only skin. maybe 500k-1 mil xp. make it up there. single use, only that variant. For heroes, it can be used on them as well (or a custom hero version to distinguish them still)

I supposed you could add chassis & global module unlocks. I would give you something to do with the XP, should be relatively easy to implement. Although I would rather see unique camo;s decals etc

I think that, once a variant has been mastered, you should be offered a choice between two effects that each negate that mech's chance of obtaining more XP. The choice is between +20% CB or +100% GXP.

Personally the idea of a larger tree skills that take 30,000xp for more cooldown, faster firing, range and other quirk like improvements like another modules slot for 100,000 xp.

I would love it if the XP could be used to buy Modules that are locked to the variant.

accumulated mech XP should be reflected by a mech rank or lvl that shows up in your games

to show that you are a veteran with a certain mech. Something to work towards "Rank30 Jenner F" or "Veteran Jenner F" or some junk like that

Something, anything to do with mech XP once it's been mastered would be great.
