Weekend Challenge - Tonnage Limits Testing

For this weekend, it's just cockpit items. It is unclear what the limits are based on the description (it's to be edited in I suspect).
All I will say is that the rewards stink (honestly, I don't want a warhorn), and you need a minimum of 60 matches to collect them all... but it would be interesting to start discussion related to tonnage limits in a CW match...
So... yay weekend?
Note: Challenge is group only, given the parameters. It would have been interesting if something was done in the solo queue would "follow" said parameters to the best of the MM's ability as a side-analysis of the system.

What was wrong with the previous event only needing a score of 30?

The match score is not that high, given the scoring system.
You need 7 assists to collect the point... or 6 assists, 300 damage. It's even easier if you spot, with TAG or not. For every spotting bonus, you need 1 less assist. If anything, this shouldn't be hard outside of major roflstomps. Unfortunately, 2 kills = 1 assist, but if you are doing spotting bonuses, this is irrelevant.

Wub is its own glorious fun. Don't need humiliation for that.

Update: There are tonnage limits stated now.
2 players = no limit (200 tons)
3 players = almost 3 Timberwolves (220)
4 players = 240 tons (60 ton per mech)
Anything above is 4 players follows the 60 ton per mech limit.
That is the experiment.

Wasn't it 130 with the same formula to get the cbills a few challenges ago? I know I didn't get all 20, and that let you play in the solo queue with no tonnage restrictions.
Yeah, I might as well not even try for this one.

Not that I'll likely get to that point. I'm just dreading the red X in my stats screen.

You get each item as you reach its respective level. But yeah, couldn't care less about the items but them red crosses...
All the fun of no mic PUG grouping! Watch out for endless "Invite me for challenge" threads in the forums all weekend! Woo!

20 per cockpit item level (in other words, you get 20 valid matches, and you get a cockpit item), with the warhorn being the last prize and the mug is the first prize.
It's cumulative.
An easier way of looking at it is if you aim to get 20 valid matches per day, it'll be easier to manage the event.

Who said they did? I'm assuming like the weight challenges it'll all be manual, so expect lots of QQ from people who haven't realised they have been playing match after match that didn't meet the tonnage limits and weren't earning points.

No, this is self-imposed. You don't qualify if you're not under tonned here. It's just script testing. Time to pull out the calculator built into Windows...

It doesn't look like it's going to be difficult to achieve a qualifying score, but having to group drop 60 times over the course of a weekend just for a warhorn? Yeah, I'll just go ahead and happily eat that red X stat.
