I didn't even notice this until today, thanks for the info. For the time being, duplicates are only handled with the owned mech logic. That should mean the duplicates will now be removed only when you toggle to hide unowned mechs, but I am unable to test most of the potential duplicates. It does appear to work for gold and invasion mechs, hiding the duplicates when toggling unowned and thus showing only the duplicates you actually own.
Depending on how much this method fails, I can add in direct hiding functionality again pretty easily. At the time it seemed like I couldn't be sure which mechs people would want to hide. So in lieu of making a hide by row feature so you could build a list of stuff to filter out, owned or not, I went with the system that handles it in the background via the owned mechs functions.
Let me know if it doesn't work for you, or you see other potential improvements. I'm finding myself analyzing my stats much more often these days.
Might add in variable time periods and difference calculations(for better tracking of changes) some day.
